Welcome to the MentorWell Parent Circle | Parent Support for Parenting Teens
Welcome To start: Introduce yourself My name is_____________ from ________________ My kids' ages are_______________________ What's one small parenting win you've had this week?_____________________________ What's one thing you hope to get out of our community?__________________________ Parenting teens can be tough. This community exists to support you when it feels confusing, heavy, or isolating. Parenting isn’t always heavy. We also want to share and celebrate wins, breakthroughs, and proud parent moments. The MentorWell Parent Circle is a parent support space focused on: - Emotional challenges - Communication and connection at home - Confidence, anxiety, and motivation - Knowing when and where to find mental health resources This is parents supporting parents. You can: - Join live drop-ins - Q&A sessions with Parent Experts talking about important stuff - Ask questions or just listen - Learn what’s working for other parents - Share when it feels right This space is meant to be useful, supportive, and have some fun too. No pressure to post. No expectation to overshare. Do what you feel comfortable with. What do you want from this community? What additions would be most helpful for you? Find other parents going through similar stuff and strike up conversations. If you know another parent who would benefit from this space, please invite them. We’re glad you’re here.

@Chris Coulter thank you for creating this community, I am glad to be part of it! And thank you - again - for sharing about Maddie so authentically. What a legacy you're creating here - you are doing her so proud!!

@Tricia Vogel so nice to meet you! I hear you... I'm here for the same reason: to enhance communication! The "shoulder to shoulder" approach has been a game changer for me, yet there's still so much room for improvement... Glad I'm here (and not alone in this). x 💞
Preferred hours for events (multiple selection options)
@Marie Alessi suggested a multiple selector vs only one. We are spread across multiple time zones and for ease of coordination, especially in the early going, this will help. The survey tool with Skool doesn't give the option to select multiple answers. I have to use my CRM tool (don't worry, it doesn't require any personal information). Select the ones that could work for you. I'll publish the results Click here for the survey. It will take you to my Constant Contact tool.

Parent Drop-in Time Suggestions
I'd love your input. So far, I have 10 parents waiting for admission next Thursday at noon when we officially open. That feels like a good starting point. My original hope was that parents would connect organically. That will come, just not yet. Early on, structure matters. This space is about sharing and community. For now, I’d like to schedule Parent Drop-In times. My thinking: - One scheduled drop-in every 2-3 days - Set times, so you can plan - No pressure to attend every one - If you meet someone you connect with, you can continue privately through chat I need your help deciding timing. What times work for your life? Please answer the poll.If you’d rather share context or ideas, message me directly. I appreciate you being part of this early. I won't abuse the email tool, I promise. I don't want to add to your inbox woes. It may be a little more frequent in the early stages. Thank you for helping to shape this community. Chris

The only 2 that will work for me in AEDT (Sydney, Australia) are 5pm or 7pm EST. It only allows me to vote for one, but thought I'd let you know. And of course it will depend on day of the week... Just a thought: If you open the poll so you can tick all the ones you're available, it might help finding the majority easier 🥰
What would be useful for you guys?
I want to know what would be useful for you guys as parents? Resources, facilitated discussion rooms, expert guest speakers, Meet and greets with other parents going through similar challenges? This is about engagement, sharing and helping or seeking help. Tell us what would be really valuable for you? What would make you want to hang out here more often? It's going to take some time to build momentum on here, but I want to make this a great place to hangout.

Lately I feel I'm tiptoeing around my 15y/o all the time. I wish there was a magic want to say things in a way they don't upset him. Hormones. I'm only human too... 🫣
