We had such great success with lettuce, kale, swiss chard, and basil we decided to branch out. A friend of ours LOVES mustard greens, so we bought 4 seedlings of 3 different varieties. These have kept us on our toes, as their needs are higher than the other grows. Ups & downs of both pH & EC and more top-offs. We've been giving away sprigs of all the greens as they've grown, but now we're going to harvest the "Ruby Streaks". Here's a picture of the greens and their roots (which are a pink tinge, just like the plant). When you bite into a fresh sprig of it, the taste is similar to wasabi.
