I passed!
I know I'm late to the party 🎉 I had some unexpected things 'pop up' as they do this past fortnight but determined to push through. I thought I'd share what the real Claude Certified Architect - Foundations exam was like 💡 A few things surprised me. Sharing in case it helps anyone still preparing. 1. It was harder than the practice exams. The free practice sites are a good start, but they're unofficial. On the real exam, every wrong answer sounded believable. You can't spot the right one by elimination; you need to understand why it's right. 2. There were no "pick two" questions. Every question had one answer. Don't stress about that format. 3. Lots of questions are about choosing the best approach. For example: which setup fits this situation, when to plan first versus just do it, and which Claude Code setting to use for which job. Knowing what things are isn't enough. You need to know when to use each one. What helped me most: - Building real things with Claude, so the ideas made sense in practice - Keeping a list of every practice question I got wrong and going back over them - Practising with questions worded in new ways, so I learnt the idea, not the answer - Taking about two minutes per question and never leaving one blank The ideas that came up again and again: - If a rule must never be broken, enforce it with code (hooks), not instructions - When Claude picks the wrong tool, fix the tool description first - Give each agent only the tools it needs - Helper agents only know what you tell them, so pass everything in - A schema checks the shape of an answer, not whether it's correct - Message Batches are cheap but slow, so only use them when nobody is waiting Good luck, everyone. You've got this! 💪

I didn't have any luck following the invite link as reported the other day the error everyone is seeing is : " Auth Session Missing " I did get it to work with a workaround, for anyone else having the same issue, just go to https://ccaf-cohort.lovable.app and do a 'forgotten password' reset - you will receive a new email and that new link will work for you to set the password, I think it's a supabase/loveable magic link url mismatch issue :)

Hi @Anita Ortiz you should have mine now! sorry for the delay
First call - Friday at 7am CST - Zoom link included
Ladies, from the ones who have posted their introductions and locations, we have a group spread out across the globe! So, the best time I can find that gives us all a chance to be on a call together is 7am CST. Below is what we have for corresponding times: 🌎 Proposed CCAF Study Call Time Here’s what a 7:00 AM Texas (CST/CDT) call would look like across locations: 🇺🇸 Texas (Anita / Henriette) — 7:00 AM 🇺🇸 South Carolina (Jing / Rebecca) — 8:00 AM 🇨🇦 Eastern Canada / Toronto (Alice / Mina) — 8:00 AM 🇧🇴 Bolivia (Pam) — 8:00 AM 🇬🇧 London UK (Juliet) — 1:00 PM 🇫🇷 France / Europe (Maria) — 2:00 PM 🇹🇼 Taiwan (Hsin-Chih) — 8:00 PM 🇦🇺 Australia (Josi) — 9:00 PM We may be partnering with another study group with someone on this list. Also, I am playing tag with Vishon from the Women in AI group who is coordinating a much larger group. I'd like to see what we can leverage and coordinate from them before we meet. Can everyone make this? If not, it will be recorded. Here is zoom link: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/83010770078?pwd=hYNfQU87Hq89gIgyaqHKcuSuQhS9Ed.1 If you have NOT introduced yourself, please take a few minutes to do so. It will help everyone know your background and experience with CC, timezone, location and more. We may be branching off into smaller groups given our dispersion geographically, so we'd like to know how best to pair and intros are important! https://www.skool.com/the-ccaf-cohort-8589/welcome-to-the-cohort-introduce-yourself?p=b915937b Thanks! Perfect! Can't wait. I'll be there
Welcome to the Cohort! Introduce yourself
We have a solid group of women studying for this exam. Share your name, location and a bit about yourself and why you've chosen to take the exam. Please share your timezone so I can start picking convenient meet dates and times.

Hi everyone, really looking forward to doing this with you. I'm Maria. Location independent since 2019 and travel mainly between France, UK and Australia (don't ask me what timezone I'm in next week 😅). My background is a mix of operations, technology, and business strategy. These days I work as a fractional COO/CTO, which basically means I get parachuted into businesses to help them figure out their systems, processes, and growth challenges. Before that, around 35 years running digital marketing agencies and coaching business owners through their growth (yes, I started young 😉) I've gone deep into the AI build space, starting with Google Apps Script and ChatGPT, spending a couple of months on Manus, and building in Cursor since late 2025. The main thing I've been building is SmartScale by Intermingle, an AI product (still in beta) integrating predominantly with HighLevel, that ingests a business's data, alongside the founder's behavioural profile and generates a personalised 12-month marketing roadmap with an AI coach that knows the strategy intimately, and the business owner's mindset even more intimately. It runs a multi-stage prompt pipeline behind the scenes, which is exactly why I'm here. CCAF is the natural next step to deepen the parts of the Claude ecosystem I've only used lightly so far, especially Claude Code and MCP server design. What I'm excited about: learning alongside people who are serious about building, not just prompting. What I bring: a builder's mindset, a tendency to ask "but why does it work that way," and a stubborn commitment to finishing what I start. Looking forward to meeting everyone properly. Maria P.S. Hoping to be in Dallas for the High Level conference again this year and attending the meetup in 'wine country'😅
