I am starting my email list from scratch 😳 and I thought I would document the process so you can see what I am doing and how simple it can be! ✨ What you should know: 1) I have been in digital marketing since 2013 2) I have a large organic social media following I am telling you this so you know I am not starting from complete scratch AND because of the current algo and reach, I would say the playing field is as equal as it's ever been. You could start this process tomorrow and reach MORE people than me, technically. I simply value transparency :) The point of building this list off of social media is that I own it AND I have more influence with people who have already received value from me, when it comes time to offer a paid product or service. ✨ What I am doing today: 1) Setting up a new Go High Level Account which is where I will be storing the emails and also keeping up the community. 2) Looking at content I have posted that has high engagement or lead magnets I have used in the past that would help my ideal client. Right now I am speaking to women who want to up-level their money, so it will fall into the "wealth" bucket. For those of you wanting to start their YouTube, now really is the perfect time. Have you noticed that when you open the YouTube app, you’re being shown shorts at the top of your home feed. Also, the other day I was searching for something and on the search results page, under the top video, YouTube was showing me a carousel of that creators community posts. For the last few weeks, I’ve been in an experiment posting 3 shorts a week and one community post a day. Lol that is very 3/6 profile of me 😜 My channel has been growing and YouTube is starting to recognize my channel for certain terms (you can find this out in your analytics). The cherry on top? I didn’t have to pop into YouTube everyday to post. Youtube actually gives a damn about creators and so you can very simply schedule every single piece of content natively on the platform. So with all that said, you could (if you desired), gather your fire posts and reels, and schedule them out for next week. Also, you can have links in your community posts so that’s a great opportunity to promote your lead magnet or even a low ticket offer. You’re welcome 💅🏾
