Winter Break(through)
My favourite part about winter break is that when everyone goes home and takes their foot off the gas, this is where you can separate yourself from everyone else. All the skills that you've been lacking and have had no time to personally improve on during the season can be improved now. Whether that's your speed, agility, or shooting percentage, now is your time to earn those minutes for second semester. And hey don't get me wrong, still take the mental break that is MUCH needed during this time. Anyways, you know how it is... SPKG

🔓 Inside the Lab: Sneak Peek
Same hand Same Foot Finish This move is iconic to 1P training, it's vital for around the rim finishing. This move is used for quick release when help defense steps in, or when your defender is sticking on you tight.

You don't have to touch the ball to be a valuable asset
Most players focus on the ball… but the best players create advantages without touching it. Here's some skills to consider: - Reading defenders & cutting at the right time - Using pace changes to get open - Setting meaningful screens (angle + timing) - Relocating (pass and move) - Filling lanes in transition - Creating spacing for teammates or balancing the floor The next time you have a shift and don't touch the ball, ask yourself if you did any of these things, if you did, count your win.

The Skill That Separates You
What is one basketball skill you feel will separate you over the next 6 months — and what’s your plan to improve it? To help you think deeper, answer these three parts: 1. Identify the Skill: Is it shooting consistency? Finishing through contact? Handling pressure? Defensive footwork? Something else? 2. Break Down the Gap: Where are you right now? Be honest. 3. Create a Mini-Plan: What will you do 10–15 minutes a day to improve this specific skill? (Reps, drills, accountability partner, etc.) Why this matters: Players who can identify ONE priority and attack it with purpose improve faster than players who try to get better at everything at once. Or they overwhelm themselves and end up doing nothing instead.
