mushroom vs. high blood pressure / aneurysms? (any experience)
Hello everyone, I would like to ask for your thoughts and experiences. My mother has a diagnosed cervical dystonia affecting the head and neck, which also causes orthopedic issues in the cervical spine (HWS). Unfortunately, last weekend she additionally suffered a cerebral hemorrhage caused by multiple aneurysms and very high blood pressure. She was in the ICU, and the acute situation has now been treated. (She is not in the hospital because of the dystonia.) If her condition continues to stabilize and there are no lasting consequences from the hemorrhage, I would like to explore alternative approaches together with her regarding the dystonia. I am wondering whether her dystonia could potentially have psychological or psychosomatic components. In this context, I am also interested in whether anyone has experience, research knowledge, or observations regarding how certain mushrooms (e.g. Fly Agaric) may affect blood pressure, heart rate, or the nervous system, especially in people with hypertension or vascular issues. Are there any known experiences, experiments, or research findings on this topic? I am explicitly looking for exchange and experiential knowledge, not medical advice. Thank you very much 🤍
