Meditation
And speaking of high cortisolโ€”meditation. I figured it deserved its own topic. Do you meditate? Have you found anything that works particularly well (or not at all)? Feel free to share your story hereโ€ฆ if you want to. โ˜บ๏ธ

@Lucas Reuterstig I'm planning to do a 10-day silent retreat in Chang Mai in early 2026. Not really looking forward to it, because it's going to be a HUGE challenge for me, and I'm sure it will bring shit to the surface, but at the same time I also feel the NEED to do it. What is the biggest insight, wisdom, value, or whatever you want to call it that you got out of the silent retreat?

I've been on and off the meditation train for many years. It's not easy for me to find the 'permission slip' that works for me. I have a preference for a guided meditation, which I also use in my event.
What changes have you made?
Since reading the book, what changes have you made? In life, in business, whatever it may be โœจ

@Anita Rozฤซte I can relate to that. I became aware of what was going on, I could label it, and eventually was able to change my mood by using the tools the books describes. Eventually I was able to create my own 'playlist' with music and videos that take me to a different place. Truly magical stuff!

@Anita Rozฤซte I did most of my events in Holland (in Dutch) and only recently started doing them in English. No English recordings yet, only (English) Youtube videos ;-) The event in Lisbon will be recorded.

@Lucas Reuterstig Good question! I always feel nervous before going on stage; I know it's excitement. And after 20 seconds on stage, that feeling went away, and it allowed me to open myself up more. Excitement was being replaced with enthusiasm. I felt confident, and that allowed me to push myself further. Do better than what I practiced. Give more!

@Wolfram Grohnert Thank you for your kind words; much appreciated ! That quote is also used in a movie called 'Coach Carter'. Very inspiring, I also use it in my events.

@Wolfram Grohnert hope you enjoy it! Movie clips are a very powerful way to convey a message or wisdom.

I lost everything chasing success, found myself in the darkness, and turned my pain into purpose through storytelling.
