What is the United States? The United States is where the Constitution, Congress, the President, police, and military reign. The Kingdom is the rule and reign of God. The Kingdom is where the Word of God reigns. Although the reality is, God is sovereign over all even now. The Kingdom is manifesting itself on a gradual basis on this earth. Where the Word and Will of God reigns...we are seeing the physical manifestation of the Kingdom. The fullness of the Kingdom will be seen when Jesus physically reigns on this earth. When a person puts there faith in Christ, they enter the Kingdom reality now. We are born into the Kingdom. We become citizens of this kingdom. The Spirit of the King comes to live in us, and we should spend time on a daily basis getting to know the King and His Will (the Bible). We are then commissioned to take this kingdom to the world in word and deed.

Following Jesus will cost you something. If it doesn't cost you, something is wrong. It's not about being a glutton for punishment. It is the simple fact that God's will and plan goes against the social norms, culture, and against your fleshly desires.

There is one thing I have learned in life, and that is the fact that seasons change. No one is immune from going through good and bad seasons. The most important thing to remember is to not make permanent decisions during temporary seasons.
