Why this matters When someone asks for proof of income, it helps to have something structured and consistent that matches your banking statements and earnings. Of course, every bank, landlord, or issuer has its own review process and may ask for additional documents, but this gives you a much cleaner starting point. Just wanted to share a success story: A friend of mine opened a Bank of America checking account in Miami on Monday this week with a brand-new ITIN and deposited $2,300. Today, Friday of the same week, he applied for the Travel Rewards card and was approved instantly with a $1,000 unsecured limit. I was really surprised how easy the whole process was. It’s actually a pretty good card too: no foreign transaction fees, a solid exchange rate, and 1.5% rewards on travel purchases. The rewards rate is not amazing, but for international use the no-fee setup is perfect.

I’m trying to create a Credit Karma account using my ITIN and U.S. address, but I keep getting the error that my information does not match the credit bureau records. Equifax also gives me an “NH” error. I’ve had a Firstcard account since May last year. I changed my address in February and the change was confirmed. Since then, I’ve also opened checking accounts and a Bank of America credit card using the new address. SoFi and True also fail because of ID verification issues. That was already happening before the address change and still happens now. It looks like there may be incorrect data in my credit files. How can I get my credit reports? Has anyone here ordered them by mail before? What documents do they usually require?

Hello all, I have noticed that its possible to get a Florida Drivers License or Identification Card depending on if your original license is recognized in the USA or not.
