Instagram has surprised me
I started a new Instagram account and waited for the hard slog to begin but it has surprised me. It has been fun and my numbers are more active than I was expecting. I started 26 August and currently at 990 follows since then. What matters most is how that converts to visitors who join my email list but its encouraging. Pinterest is a much slower place - a little like being in the search engines it takes a while so I continue to post. I only started Instagram because I have all these images from Pinterest I may as well add them here! Wasn't expecting much. I have been pretty active on there. Lead Generation Studio provides the content, ChatGPT the images and Claude makes the videos. Videos are turning out to be my most viewed content. Over the summer I changed my platforms a little. SubStack and YouTube is for my own personal story. YouTube shorts, Instagram, Pinterest is for any site I set up.

Digital Products. Mini Apps and using Artifacts
It seems selling a PDF is "boring" - so ok, what now? Digital experiences. Products that provide an experience. Now - thanks to Djangify - I provide digital experiences and mini apps. It seems artifacts are being called mini apps or dynamic documents or web-based work space. So many names, so little time. It isn't Wednesday but this is sort of a mini update because I FINALLY FINISHED a site. I can hardly believe it. There is a process all other sites can follow based on this one. https://selftalkeffect.com I am about to walk through the structure I have now set up and that I will help other Djangify uses set up so they can sell their digital products. Of course they don't have to but its there and I like structure and systems. So.... You have a Djangify site. You set it up with your products and connect your email provider You use Pinterest and/or social media to gain attention and You use your link hub on social media https://www.selftalkeffect.com/links/the-self-talk-effect/ You get people onto your email list and / or registering at your site so they have an account when they are ready to buy You use order bumps so when people add a product to their cart they can buy another You use the one time offer available so you can offer a product just once to people. It shows up after they register on your site and go to log in for the first time. You use PAID hosted artifact tools and link them with your PDF so you can say you are offering a PDF and web-based workspace or mini-app - a digital experience. You nurture and stay in touch with your email list. If you want to you run a Skool group so people can connect with each other. I would still have an email list even with a group. That is the whole structure I have set up so far and have in place starting from zero. If you already have a social media presence and/or email list then that makes it even better. SO NOW FOR THE LONGER VERSION ONLY IF YOU WANT IT....

WWW - What Went Well - July 5th 2026
My focus last week was on the system/tool that will help me generate plans, content and stay focused. I found a few paid tools but instead decided to build something that will work with Djangify and save the monthly fee! This week I have been using and fixing (while using) Lead Generation Scout (LGS). IMPORT FROM DJANGIFY I included a button the connects LGS to Djangify. It will pull in your EEAT profile, pages, any hosted tools, products, cluster pages and blog posts (the last six months) All of that content is used in the traffic generation/content creation plan so each plan does not give me a bunch of NEW content to create but uses existing content. The AI Assistant has been trained to include EXISTING content and promote that. Each import is called a WEBSITE and in the website area you can also select your preferred social media platforms that you want to use. CREATE THE PLAN - 30 day or 90 days The software is attached to Claude Chat. So in my Claude window I can connect to LGS and ask questions in Claude. It has been such a blessing to take all the chats on strategy and positioning and put them all into one space - the Assets - then get AI to go over them and deliver a plan. This plan is based on focusing on ONE PRODUCT only. The content creation plan is delivered while focusing on that one product and you can also select to focus on email marketing only (getting people to sign up to a list) It focuses on a framework and delivers the plan into sections of Getting Found, Getting Known and Getting Paid - so all activities will focus on one of those three. WORK THE PLAN Based on the social media platforms I selected LGS will work to deliver plan advice based on those platforms. Before creating the plan AI will ask me how much time I want to spend on each site and I tick off everything I do as I complete it. If I don't get things done the email reminder lets me know. Unless I tell the chat otherwise the plan will blend what I already have with new content to create. On one site that didn't have a cluster page or any tools I told it to focus on new content only. So I can choose to only build new content and over ride the instructions.

I need to sleep. Reducing access beats resisting temptation
Reducing the impact of Skool on my sleep and mental health continues today. I removed myself from a number of groups a few weeks ago and now I am continuing with that because switching off notifications isn't enough. As long as I know a group is there I will 'pop in for a bit' and now it happens at 1 or 2am when I should be sleeping so I am removing myself from more. If I care about the group/owner I let them know. Otherwise I just leave. Hats off to gamification and how it's used on here to help with dopamine fixes. Between level up activities in groups and staying active to keep a flame I really bought into the whole thing for the last 5 months. I tried resisting temptation but it didn't work. Now I will reduce access and reclaim my time ☺️

@Diane Corriette I set my hours for calls a while ago and don't do calls outside of those set hours, otherwise I would never sleep. Your all good. As long as your ok. If you do ever want to come back send me a msg and you don't have to pay.
The group is now being indexed
I have been waiting to see how long it would be before the group appeared in the search engines and it has taken 6 weeks. So now, search-led content becomes really important. How long it takes to be found for different keywords
The group is now being indexed
