Ego kills dreams/goals
We need to kill our ego because ego is just pride if you really think about it the reason why I’m talking about this is because at times I can be egotistical but I have to learn that I need to humble myself when it comes to doing something in life and also there’s people who I know that try to be better than others thinking they are higher and call it mentality but in reality they are destroying the thing they are trying to build on, if you look at people in the bible who had ego for example Goliath and nebbercannezzer they thought they were strongest that ever had been and look at what happen to them Goliath was killed by David with a stone to the head and nebbercannezzer was humbled in the worst ways by God.what I’m basically saying is that ego isn’t your friend it’s sin that is going to destroy what you building and you with negative consequences
How to Deal with anger
Guys can someone give me a hint to how not be angered easily (espescialy from annoying people or from people i dont realy like) bcs this weekend I wasnt in a good mood tbh and ik I should be according to the Bible be slow in anger and fast in forgiving long story short but I still find myself falling for this trap many times and get angry wich also feeds this pride in me yk. Someone with advise pls? Thx ☦️

I struggle with this aswell because I would get angry with people that annoyed me or where just mean to me but what i tried doing is reminding myself that person was made in the image of God and Jesus still loved them even when he died on that cross

I know it’s hard and I myself am working on that but what I would try is like isolating yourself and just taking a deep breath and maybe try talking to God about it to cool you down
Try to distance yourself
Honestly, we need a break from ourselves every so often. If we are alone for too long or our hands stay empty too long, then the devil and flesh have ample opportunity to have you all to themselves. You may need to talk to some people who will guide you to the right direction to not be trapped in your own echo chamber, for it states in Proverbs 27:17: "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Replacing some habits with other ones is essential because energy can’t be created or destroyed. It all has to go somewhere, so let it be towards a different thing. God bless.

Yo
Being careful where you go
Yea god will protect you from the things that try to jump you but you can’t always jump headfirst into a meat grinder knowingly and expect to come out the other side with god fully approving of this. There’s a moment in Luke 4:9-11 where Satan had said “If you truly are the son of god, leap off of this building, for it says in Psalms 91:11-12 ‘he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest your foot strike a stone.’ only for Jesus’to rebuttal and say “You shall not put the lord your god to the test.” This actually really makes a lot of sense. Guarding them through self destructive activities is like giving a spoiled toddler too much candy because they asked for it. What do we take away from this? Sure, we may have the free will to do things but god is not entitled to support it.
