The Mirror Question: The Energy Audit
We are in the era of Clean Energy. This means we don't run on guilt, obligation, or drama. You have entered a new season of building, which means you need to inspect your crew. Relationships aren't neutral; they're either charging you or draining you. You cannot build a skyscraper with a team that's only qualified to build a shed. Some people were perfect for the chapter where you were learning how to survive. They knew how to stretch a dollar, how to laugh in chaos, how to keep you distracted from the holes in your own self-worth. They were good for nights on the couch, trauma jokes, and talking about what you hate. But this is not that season. You are not just trying to make it through the week anymore. You are quietly pouring the foundation for a life that will outlive you. If you're around people who only know how to patch, they will talk you out of demolishing what needs to go. If you're around people who fear height, they will call you selfish for wanting to rise. Their nervous system is not calibrated for where you're going, so your expansion will always look like a threat, not a blessing. Inspecting your crew is not about deciding who is worthy of you in a moral sense. It's about telling the truth about capacity. 🌹 Who can hold a real conversation about money, power, and peace without spiraling into projection? 🌹 Who can hear your boundary and adjust instead of punishing you for it? 🌹 Who is willing to grow, not just vent? You're allowed to choose a team that can handle the weight of your next level. You are allowed to love people and still not hire them for the skyscraper of your life. Who in your circle is currently benefitting from a version of you that no longer exists? Are you still feeding connections that were based on your old trauma or your old people-pleasing habits? It's time to clean the grid. Where is the leak coming from? Access to your energy is a privilege, not a right.
