@Deniz Corcor i like to have head over head to prevent subs and also have their legs stacked so angles and putting feet on hips are difficult As long as I'm conscience I'm pretty safe

Holding the head is super important during transitions where you need balance. It also places your head over theres not allowing many attacks
Most fighters train the calf kick wrong
When I watch guys practicing, I often see the “traditional” version: a nice combination, finished off with a calf kick. The problem? That’s not how it actually shows up in competition. In real fights, calf kicks usually land in two ways: 1. As a direct attack 2. When the opponent is stepping forward If you only train it as a finishing touch to a combo, you’ll miss the timing and the setups that make it effective under pressure. The key is learning how to use your feet and positioning to create the opening. Here’s one way I like to do it 👇 👉 How do you set up your calf kick? Drop your favorite setup in the comments!

love this coach. I don't think people realize how nuanced this is and for it to be on film is even bigger for fighters coming out of lesser camps
