Just wrapped up the Boiler Room call with Shivansh, and it feels like I’ve officially begun a new chapter.. not by starting something new, but by returning to a path I was always meant to walk, this time with greater clarity and conviction. The excitement is soooo real. The vision is clear. The commitment is made! 50K followers in the next six months. World, I’m coming for you!

I’m a lot like Ayesha Mehra from Dil Dhadakne Do — doing good work in spaces that didn’t always feel made for me, until I slowly started building spaces of my own. I’m Maitry. A communication coach, corporate trainer, podcaster, mother, partner at Art of Speech, and founder of Beyond the Blackboard. Honestly, most of what I do today comes from things I wish I had when I was younger. I’ve worked with adults in corporate spaces for years, training teams and conducting sessions for companies like Kohler, Godrej, and Asian Paints. But somewhere in between all those workshops and boardrooms, I kept feeling the same thing — why are we waiting till adulthood to teach people confidence, communication, emotional expression, teamwork? That thought slowly became Beyond the Blackboard for me. A space where I take everything I’ve learnt from the corporate world into schools, so children and teachers can benefit from it much earlier in life. And Art of Speech feels personal in a completely different way. Because I know what it feels like to have thoughts and opinions but still hesitate to speak. So being able to work with children now, helping them express themselves freely, feels really close to my heart. And when I’m not working, I’m mostly in full mom mode — building crafts and games for my toddler, dancing with him in the middle of the house, humming random songs, or just creating little moments with him that make ordinary days feel special. I think I’m still figuring a lot of things out.Still building.Still becoming.But for the first time in a long time, I genuinely feel like I’m building a life that looks like me.
