@Shakira Beltre we are living the childhood dream!!
is there purpose in pain?
we are having a human experience our souls ultimately chose. each of us carries unique karmic lessons meant to be learned and integrated. truthfully, we may never fully know what these lessons are, or how close we are to learning them, at least while we’re here in physical form. lately, i’ve been sitting with a strangely comforting realization: if our souls chose this human journey, maybe there is purpose in pain. maybe it’s not meant to be pushed away or shamed, but fully felt and honored. i’ve heard that earth is the most difficult place for a soul to incarnate. the challenges here offer the greatest potential for growth, because this dimension holds the hardest lessons. knowing this, our pain, suffering, grief, confusion, loss, and hopelessness all make a different kind of sense. if we never felt hate, how could we truly know love? how would we understand light without first meeting the dark? i’ll leave you with this question- answer here, or simply reflect on it in your own time: if you could ask your soul one question about your journey, what would it be?

I would ask my soul what life does she want to live currently and what are the things she’s learned from our past that can help us this lifetime.

@Shakira Beltre exactly! I wonder if there’s a time or a season that makes us feel each time we come back in this life is totally worth it. Also, I wanna know about all the bad ass moments we’ve had that made us who we are today so I can make sure to invoke that same energy as well.
word of the day....
Samskara (or Sanskara). it's a Sanskrit word meaning "impression", and it is used in yogic tradition to describe an unfinished energy pattern. Samskaras are blockages, impressions from the past. they are unfinished energy patterns that accumulate in your mind and body and can significantly influence your life if not addressed. resistance to these patterns causes the energy to remain stuck or continue cycling because there is no place for it to go if we don't let it. Samskaras can be past relationships, traumas, insecurities, and fears that get stored in our heart with specific details of an event that could not pass through. it interacts with the flow of current thoughts and experiences. when a Samskara is stimulated, it opens like a flower and releases stored energy and you begin to feel what you experienced when the original event took place. we all have them... and after learning about this word i wondered what life would look like if we all simply allowed experiences- good and bad, to come in and pass. we have the power to let them go, to free ourselves of these patterns, but it begins with awareness. what Samskara has greatly impacted your life, and you are ready to let go of?

A huge one I’ve had to release is my relationship with money/abundance. Letting others and systemic beliefs dictate what our relationship looks like. Whether out of fear of me getting ahead, keeping me institutionalized mentally, or to not see my true potential and worthiness. Been journaling a lot about what I desire my relationship to look like versus what others have projected onto me. 🩵

@Shakira Beltre Yes this is so beautiful just having to shift our mindset and realizing that how we view things definitely attribute to our personal lives and what we’ve experienced. And we have to unconditional ourselves from what was instilled in us and find our own relationship and meaning that we have with our self-worth and abundance created in the world.
who's still here?
hi alchemists🌙 it's been a couple weeks since our first group call, and before i continue creating more spaces like that, i want to know: who's still here? if that's you (even if you've been quietly observing), i'd love to hear from you🦋 share whatever feels right: - your name (or just hi) - what form of art or creativity calls to you - a book, song, movie, or resource that changed your life - what does "alchemy" mean to you? - what do you want more of in this community? no pressure to answer everything. pick what resonates. i'll drop my answers in the comments🧿 (and if you're just reading, drop a 🤍 so i know you're here)

@Shakira Beltre Hii lovely!! Thanks for your in-depth response 🩵 I can certainly understand how you feel in regards to the masculine/business aspects. A lot of the times when I’m having to do admin work, focusing on contracts, pricing my artwork, or even trying to build new systems that work best for me long-term for my emotional and feminine stability it can be very challenging. Like right now I’m having to drink some cacaoa just to relax my nervous system ☕️. I’m having to gather all my true supporters and get them acustomed to the platforms, I am now wanting to express myself more freely on. It’s one of those things where you know everything’s gonna work out because you feel it in your spirit—otherwise why would we be doing it!! But it’s like all of this unnecessary pressure and I just want it to be done and go back to my creativity and not have to touch admin work ever again 😂😂 But the other thing about it is you know your business grows as you grow as an individual, and so does your creativity. So one thing I’ve definitely been learning is just to take it slow. An extension to what has helped me is listening to podcasts, frequency’s, African drums, or comedy shows behind the scenes when I’m doing the masculine aspects of things. It just makes me feel a lot lighter. It takes off the pressure and I remind myself that I could really just go at my own pace. It doesn’t all have to get done at once which correlates to my “determine personality” and my driving passion for what I’m doing as a whole. I’m sure you could relate to this as well. You are speaking my language when it comes to authenticity understanding how the world, creativity, human interaction, overconsumption, has psychological effects on us long-term, and the existential topics that we have many questions to. “Yet we still have very little answers but these are the things that are stored in our DNA and somehow we actually do have the answers, but we have to find ways to actually access them. Which also requires us to remove the ego and out of systemic conditioning that only teaches us about survival versus actually existing.” 😂 what a conundrum.

Hi beautiful!! These are deeply centered messages. Your reward to your previous self is the intention that you put out there. Those actionable steps that create community and spaces we wish to exist. And you are doing it in a way that is most aligned with you. Trust that guidance. And I completely agree the more I continue to express myself the more I am able to learn about who I am and those who have come before me—I feel heard and less alone. And likewise, you are too kind. Conversations like this really make me full on a soulful level before I have physically eaten. They spark that spiritual and existential brain of mine that just makes me feel even more connected so thank you for just being open to share. Thanks for wanting to connect more!! I am currently between releasing and integrating. On the first of December, I was celebrating a huge accomplishment in my art career, and thenI was hit with family and personal matters out of my control. It has required me to go inward and really put myself first during this time. To prepare for whatever is next, be inspired and reconnect with myself in a different way. Now, I'm just navigating through the motions---seeing what may come out this period. Thanks for holding the space. 💙
