I’ve been MIA on this and writing in general. I’ve been busy with social media stuff (I hit 10K on Instagram so that’s exciting)!! But I had some ✨inspiration✨ in writing today so I’m gonna crank something out on a new project. I feel I need to learn the art of writing before being creative in my storytelling and plotting. Which takes me back to my middle school days where I was a fanfic writer for my own happiness (bro I wrote so much all on my phone how did I not become a writer, my poor thumbs). And I had the inspiration for a retelling cause I was looking for something to read this week and I couldn’t find anything that fit the itch. I like retellings cause you kinda know where the story is going but also can throw in your own twists! So wish me luck in this!!

Got my first AI accusation yesterday. The more ridiculous part is that he said he liked my writing, but he was questioning one of my TikTok posts… haha. I don’t use AI for my writing. Period. or my TikTok/social posts for that matter. How do you guys handle the AI accusations? I’ll be honest… my blood was boiling a little bit at the absurdity of it and a bit of my frustration showed in my response. Would love to know what you all do in these situations?

Officially released my book 2 cover and title to the public today, and the responses and DMs have been out of this world positive. I love my cover, but it’s so validating that other people do too! Was a nice win today.

Some of you already know about my fantasy comedy series, The Legend of Uh. It's been making rounds in the indie fantasy social media space and it's gathered a really spirited following. Over the weekend, book one (The Legend of Uh) passed 1000 ratings on Goodreads, and book two (The Second Legend of Uh) passed 100 ratings after being out for less than three weeks! I'm thrilled!
