WARNING to COLD CARD USERS: ColdCard has been compromised.
If you're using a cold card to secure your bitcoin, you should transfer all of your bitcoin out of your cold card wallet ASAP. A lot of btc has been swiped recently from peoples cold cards. You can read all about it on X/twitter. Here's what I would do right now if using the cold card: Step 1: Transfer all BTC from coldcard onto an exchange (Binance, Kraken, Coinbase, etc.) right now. Note: I normally NEVER encourage you to keep your btc on an exchange, but for the next few days it's a safer option than keeping it on a cold card. Step 2: Order a new type of hardware wallet, like a Blockstream Jade. Step 3: While you wait for your new wallet to arrive, watch a few YT vids to learn how to use it. Step 4: As soon as it arrives, use the dice roll method + add a BIP-39 passphrase to it. Step 5: Transfer your BTC from the exchange to your new hardware wallet. Step 6: Consider a multi sig approach for long term safety. Best, T

Most cold storage and hardware wallets are still ok. I like Blockstream Jade and Trezor for example. But yes, if you ever generated your private key (12 or 24 words) from a Coldcard, it's better to transfer those funds somewhere else. An exchange helps, or use sparrow, exodus, ... software wallets to generate a new private key, and send everything temporarily there. Always do a small amount first, to check. Bitcoin doesn't have 'cashback' or helpdesks ...

By the way, does anyone here have any experience with a service like Casa? They provide serious multisig and inheritance setups. Not cheap though

Oh, boy, his interviews are so good. A transformative experience. He really did step out of the matrix. Mind-blowing, as usual.
Money should have 1 job
"Money should have 1 job: it's supposed to hold the value of your work until you need it." The Wolf of All Streets. Take 8-9 minutes, and watch his video. Worth watching, I promise. Full post on his website: https://thewolfden.substack.com/p/why-i-believe-in-bitcoin-the-argument?triedRedirect=true

How’s everyone doing?
Be honest lol. Y’all surviving this? Buying during this? Nobody has been posting lately, figured I’d be the one to check in and see how everyone is doing!

Hey, Brian, we're still alive! :-) Always buying, weekly DCA. Works wonders , especially in bear markets. As long as the Bitcoin protocol/network stays secure & decentralized, I'm in. Still the best money ever invented, in my humble opinion.

@Robert Genito Yes, it certainty was. At that time, I was still buying some altcoins too. Ethereum, Monero, Dash, Litecoin, Ripple,... Got rid of them all during 2018
Any experience with "The Bitcoin Way" ?
The Bitcoin Way https://www.thebitcoinway.com/ Hey, is anybody familiar with the services of this company? I've heard a lot of good stuff, but one thing that bothers me, is that I can't find any prices for their service(s). BitcoinKatie is user, Saifedean Ammous seems a fan, Rustin (Simply Bitcoin) too. I'm curious if anyone here has worked with them.
