30 Days of OpenClaw: The "Stark" Reality (Need Your Help)
I just completed my first full month working on OpenClaw. It’s been an incredible learning experience, but I’ve hit a massive crossroads. My goal was a local gateway running on my Mac. I stripped away the entire UI to make it Headless and fully modified the build into what I’m calling "Stark." However, local autonomy comes with a heavy price tag. Here is what I’ve encountered: - The RAM Tax: I had to delete 80% of the apps on my Mac just to keep the lights on. Running OpenClaw, Antigravity, and Google simultaneously is consuming 95% of my RAM. - Token Burn: I’ve burned through 500M+ tokens so far. This leaves me with a tough decision to make: 1. Keep pushing: Continue improving and optimizing "Stark" (OpenClaw). 2. Switch gears: Move to an alternative without losing my current workspace progress. I refuse to give up the autonomy of OpenClaw, but the resource drain is real. I need your input. Help me make the next move (share your thoughts in the comments) 👇 I am deep in the Claw rabbit hole. Here is my final comparison table: What would you do in my position? Let's discuss. P.S. I’ll be sharing the "Stark" headless configuration in my AI Lab once I decide on the final path.
