@Alex Lato did you say the reactivity webinar was going to be for trainers only? Do you mean people who train dogs for a living?

@Alex Lato great - Thankyou
Freddie name game
Have been doing this for a few mins every day starting with throwing food out & then calling name as he finishes eating then having food in hand for him to run back to. Tried throwing food out with him on lead but think placing it is better at least to start with. I called him back to have food from me then released to food on floor. Need to repeat lots so we both learn the process! @Alex Lato

Freddie name game
Freddie update
Seem to be short on time lately so not had time to film but have continued with daily games. Rewatched confidence videos from classroom @Alex Lato love the name game for recall ❤️ - I can see this is going to work really well for faster recall with Freddie. I need to do a review of where I am at & what my next steps are so I have clear criteria to progress.
New Videos in the Classroom
Hi Gang! just to let you know there are few new videos in the classroom. Including Impulse Control, Play on Restrain, Confidence Training via Toy Play. I have chosen them based on our last live questions. Ps. I marked them with NEW! in the title so you can easily find them. There few to come but I will keep you posted! Enjoy!

Lesson 1 H/w
List of reinforcers for Pip; 1. Food - roasted meat (high value), can get more excited about it if thrown/flicked or in a treat ball rather than just given. Would like kibble from everyone but me if were out & were allowed! 2. Play - chasing small squeaky ball (high value), hiding & finding toys i,e. under blanket (high value), Tug games (low value, not always in the mood, only really does at home & can disengage quickly, if out will tug if over aroused rather than motivated), hide & seek games with me (high value). 3. Scent games / find it games with food or people - at home (high value), tracking (mod value), scent squares when out (mod - low value), finding people (mod value). 4. Tricks - spinning, speaking, hand touch, middle (high value & wind her up), sit, down etc (low value, finds boring/naggy) 5. Time on walks to sniff & mooch about with me where there's no expectation of her. Things I try to manage as the self-reward outranks all of the above!! Fly by of other dogs (manages well with distance & long line, gets frustrated on lead - seems conflicted between wanting to get to them & getting cross if they are staring at her) Fly by of people (used to be high value but now does not bother with any more, worked on a 'say hi' cue which works really well so she dosent self release)
