Lesson Three - Confidence food games
Hi @Alex Lato We had a play with the coming to me with noise distraction, she did great I think. I have a torn muscle in my shoulder atm so I am a bit stiff so won't be able to be too crazy with it. Cheers Karen https://youtu.be/icG1UcixL4c?si=Knw6_q9ObeBBABc0

Hi @Alex Lato mostly my questions are being answered as we go but I think I’m struggling the most with motivation in the endless rain 🤬🤬 Last time around I was getting several short session sessions in throughout the day. So my question is what games work well for small indoor spaces ?
Box feeding with restraint
Not an ideal box as he could see through it a little but was focusing on getting him used to restraint mostly as this is what our main focus for to play is based on your previous feedback - so guessing getting him used to the restraint in other games /exercises with food with help when it comes to toy play @Alex Lato P.s should I pick the box up after I’ve said ok to take his head out of box ?

@Alex Lato just in case you missed this
Racing to the food
Trying mixing up variety of food focused games in different areas - using our daily walk for training opportunities & racing him to food, history of resource guarding so this is a big change for us @Alex Lato would you keep playing all games for variety or find which ones he appears to enjoy most?

@Samantha Preece 🤣
Freddie box feeding
Confidence was something I’ve focused on a lot since first PWP with Fred. Metal sounds particularly triggered him, when he was younger he wouldn’t go in his crate until I took the bottom metal tray out & didn’t like metal feeding bowls either. So I’ve worked on that lots & tried banging metal tray for the box feeding. @Alex Lato any feedback or next steps? Is box feeding something you always go back to or is it a starting exercise to progress from?
