Last year was my first year coaching and the school (3A) got a new HC last year. I started off as a volunteer in March and wound up being JV HC by July. It was a crazy ride. Didn't even know what I didn't know. This year I'll be varsity OC and JV HC. Program has been down for a few years so we really need to get the kids some confidence in what they are doing. Even with my limited knowledge and experience what I have seen of the system makes a lot of sense and I think the kids (and I) will pick it up quickly. I also think it will fit nicely into the foundation of what we did last year.
