Coffee shop
Hello all I am Dennis. I own sacudida coffee. Any have any idea how to get people to try my coffee, most people just go to places like dunkin,Starbucks or 7 brew. I do farmers markets and festivals. I do not have a brick and mortar sell mostly online. Check website and feedback is appreciated. Www.sacudidacoffee.com

Hey Dennis! This topic deserves a video I think 💪🏻 But there’s tons of ways to engage with customers before investing in a physical location. Let’s connect in the DM’s or take a call sometime!
Anyone interested in scoring our subscription coffees?
As part of our online coffee subscription, I’ll be sending out links for online score sheets. So those that have the coffee can submit scores on them 🙌🏻 I was thinking of making some sample packs available for everyone on Skool to order in case you wanted to also score them. (If you’re not already a subscriber of course). Sound interesting to anyone?

@Nam Lam I will start hosting clippings in the office, but we could also have sample packs available to order online. So You CS m could score the same coffees even if you aren’t a subscriber. Just want to gage how interested people would be in that sample option :)

@Thor Larsen We decided to make it digital! So we can share it more ✌🏻 We’re working on it now, it will be ready for June Subscription 🙌🏻
Resting
Hey! It's my first experience with Nordic style coffees. Bought the Dhilgee Banko Gotiti Ethiopia. How much shall I let it rest before brewing it? I am brewing espresso mainly, and occasionally v60.

Dhilgee is so nice 😍 We wouldn’t start brewing anything until at least 3 weeks of roast. This is mainly due to our low airflow style of roasting… The surface of the bean does not become as porous, so it takes a lot longer for the coffee to resT
Water filtration system
Hello all! I wanted to reach out to anyone who is working in the industry / or know about water filtration systems. Which ones do you use/ or would recommend for a cafe. Is it a must? Is it risky to buy second hand to save costs?

Good question… A lot depends on what you need it for. If it’s for home, you could buy second then buy a new membrane for the filter. But if it’s for a business I’d just get a new one or ask about leasing options. Many times leasing will come with a service package (which can be helpful 👍🏻). But you absolutely need a water filter - it’s vital for equipment lifespan and coffee quality 💪🏻 RO (reverse osmosis) is what you need. Water ppm no higher than 100 (ppm=parts per million). I keep ours at 65ppm 🙌🏻
