Tonight we’re opening our home and hearts in a new way, and it’s reminding me of a deeply personal part of my story. We are hosting a foreign exchange student from Spain and I feel honored and blessed to get to love and support her during her time in the US. Our family is excited to meet her this evening and I have prayed for her since the day I "met" her in the process! ➡️If you do not know this about me: I was adopted as an infant. A near "abortion story" turned into something beautiful. A family that took me home from the hospital and gave me the life God had planned for me all along! "Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be." - Psalm 139:16 ✝️ Naturally, adoption has always been close to my heart — it’s shaped how I see family, connection, and love without boundaries. What a blessing it's been to me and a passion-project I have for the future. It's one of my WHY stories in building this business... 🙌🏼 So... Welcoming our foreign exchange student tonight feels like another chapter in that same story… proof that family is built by choice, commitment, and love. While she is only here temporarily, I truly feel like God is placing us in each other's lives for a reason. And I hope you'll join me in praying for this chapter of our story.
