Low-Ticket Membership Launch Debrief
Hey friends! I just completed a founding members launch for a monetize-style membership. My main goal was to get this out there so that it’s ready to be used as a downsell after my high-ticket launch next month. Set my goal at 5 Members, got 16! Here’s the debrief: Product Name: The Neurofamily Collective Product Price: $27/Month $270/Year Description of Product: Membership program designed to help parents of neurodivergent kids find the accommodations that regulate their neurodivergent child, balance those accommodations so that every member of the neurofamily is getting their needs met, and effectively advocate for their entire neurofamily. List Size at Time of Launch: ~13,400 - 13,512 Sent first pre-launch mention email - 13,345 Sent first sales email – 7 on waitlist - 13,166 Sent final sales email Number of Sales: 16 - 4 Pay in Full (25%) - 12 Monthly Membership (75%) - 1 Upsell - 1:1 Quick Start Call (6.25%) Total Revenue Generated: $1503 - Total Recurring: $324 - Total Annual: $1080 - Total Upsell: $99 Lessons Learned: - I should do an actual webinar launch for this membership after my high-ticket program is rolling. - Send more emails! Every email got at least one new member. - Personal reach out was a big needle mover. How I’m Feeling: Excellent! - I tripled my launch goal - The members are perfect-fit - It takes me 4 hours a month to run and is infinitely scaleable How I’m Celebrating: Decadent coffee :) What I’m Focused on Next: Launching my high ticket program - LPT is on April 15 - This membership will be a downsell after

Love this! How did you personally reach out (via email or some other method)?
Webinar: Testimonials / Case Studies
What if I don't have any yet? While I just finished pre-selling the course and got buyers, they've been pretty quiet so I'm not sure if I will have any testimonials or case studies for this offer specifically when it's time to launch the webinar.

@Marcela Veron Yes to both, but I hadn't gotten testimonials or feedback yet from the beta members. And thank you!

@Mariah Coz Oh ok, I do have several responses as to why people joined. How would I incorporate that into the webinar? Also, how do I use an anonymous testimonial? Is it weird to show a testimonial with no picture and name? (Its such a good testimonial too!)
[NEW] A bonus training...about bonuses! 🎁
This strategy is something I've been working on with my private clients and I wanted to share it with you too! ➡️ WATCH THE NEW TRAINING: Rotating Through A Menu of Expiring Bonuses For More Evergreen Sales If you want to scoop up more "turtles" from your evergreen funnels and nudge those fence-sitters into action at the end of the month, this is a great strategy to test out. Enjoy and let me know if you implement this! I will be experimenting with it for 2025. Question for you...which bonus would get YOU off the fence if you could choose? (That's a good place to start with choosing your own!) Let me know in the comments! 👇

So for this, is the recommendation that you offer only ONE expiring bonus (not multiple) within a given timeframe?
Email Marketing
So, one of the online coaches/creators that I follow (who specializes in email marketing) is making the argument against a welcome sequence and says that it isn't necessary. I am a fan of a nurture sequence for a lead magnet and need to put them in place for product purchases. And, to me, a nurture sequence is similar to a welcome sequence.. but I do have to wonder. To my actual question around email marketing (three fold) 1) How often do you email your list? 2) How often do you prune cold subscribers for your list? 3) To dovetail off #1, how often are you selling via email vs. value add?

Everyone has their own opinions and it's more about finding what works best for you and what feels good you. 💕 For me personally: 1) Almost daily 2) Every few months 3) I "sell" in every email. Sometimes it's a launch or flash sales, sometimes it's subtle link sharing or offer mentionings, sometimes it's an affiliate link and sometimes it's a quick mention in the P.S. or email footer - lots of ways to get your offers own without shoving "salesy" emails in their inbox. I'll also add that I do provide value within every email and that value doesn't always need to be a long email. Sometimes I simple reminder or quick 1-2 sentence tip is enough. These are my thoughts of course, but hoping it helps. 😊
"Give them the same experience"
The question/answer around creating the same experience in your launch event as what they'll receive with the offer really resonated with me. I'm planning on hosting my free event inside of my Heartbeat community as that's where my memberships and student/client only community are hosted. My concern is that this requires them to sign-up for a platform (if they aren't already in my community) which means there will be less active participants. I'm wondering if this is a case of needing to shift my mindset to focus on those that DO come into the community and just do my best to encourage/explain why they need to join the community for the free event (and not worry about the rest)? Or does anyone have tips on what I could do for this situation?

@Mariah Coz Ohhh gotcha, I see. Yeah, I typically segment and launch to my full list regardless. 😊 I wasn't sure if you meant to also provide the pre-recorded content outside of the community. I def feel like it'll hold ppl back from participating if they realize they have to create a community account, but doing it this way gives them the full experience on what becoming a member would truly be like.

@Mariah Coz It'll be Module 1 from one of my courses inside the membership. I'm hosting a "sampler" 2-day event which includes select course content, a live call, Voxer Office Hours + one mini tutorial from the membership.
