Guy was shot! Totally healed! My new buddy Joseph came over today to sell me windows. Just a normal moment. No stage. No service. No crowd. Years ago, Joseph was shot in the thigh. Since then, he’s lived every day of his life with chronic pain…five to eight out of ten, nonstop. Pain he learned to live with. Pain he assumed was permanent. Today, we prayed. One simple prayer. No hype. No striving. We were outside, and you could feel the tenderness of God all around us…like creation itself was bearing witness. By the power of the Holy Spirit, the finished work of the cross, and the name of Jesus, something shifted. The pain left his body completely. What he carried for years was gone in a moment. It wasn’t loud. It wasn’t dramatic. It was gentle. It was holy. Jesus didn’t need a platform to heal him. He needed a body that was yielded. Jesus is alive. Healing is still His language. And the finished work is not an idea…it’s a living reality. All glory to God.
