I’m not an outlier. I admire people like Cameron Hanes, Nick Bare, Jocko Willink, Courtney Dauwalter, Ross Edgley, and others who chose the hard path and showed us what’s possible. They’ve inspired guys like me to look in the mirror and say: I’ve got more to give. Socrates once said: “It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.” That resonates with me. I want to push my body and mind to their limits. These outliers found a path and followed it—I want to do the same.
