How did i get out of my own way? I like my wife has wronged me so many times and then 1 i wrong her all that i have worked for the last 13 years crumbles.

Hey King! I too have been in my own way soooo many times!! That’s because I say what I will do better and what I won’t do again. I make promises that are either unrealistic based on my present emotional and mental health. I’ve discovered the ONLY way to get out of my way is to allow GOD full access to my heart, to my mess, to my marriage!! If I truly was that good at fixing it, I probably would’ve along time ago, but I’m not capable of that absent of Holy Spirit leading me and guiding me and directing my every step. Take your mistakes and your love for your wife to GOD and truly give Him your heart in this matter. Trust me He cares✊🏾🙏🏾 When you feel your patience wearing thin pray. When you feel she isn’t hearing you pray. When you feel like you don’t know what to do….pray!! I’m not over spiritualizing your pain or your relationship challenges. Because there is work that must be done too. Focus on healing from the pain you may still have towards her and even pain you have towards yourself. Forgive her and forgive you!! We’re here for you King👑✊🏾🙏🏾
