Thank you @Melissa Gill !!! 🙏 I’m so happy to have found this group of creatives. And I love your beautiful kitty image. I have a sweet assistant kitty named Lucy who is our country diva. She assists by keeping the mice out of the house so that they won’t eat my fabrics and lace. I wish they were like the mice in Cinderella and would help me with my projects. I am in California. I enjoy working with different mediums. I love to crochet with coffee in the morning. I embroider with floss as well as create beadwork embroidery. I love appliqué and batch sewing. Upcycled and embellished clothing are my favs although I design from scratch as well. I create fairy skirts for children and make mobiles from various fabric combinations, as well as scrunchies and boho handbags. I used to bend at festivals where I sold tiered skirts and vests and sometimes hats. I have been wanting to get into dying fabrics with natural dyes and searched out for this Community on Discovery. When I found this one I knew that I had arrived to a place that matched my interests. What I want to learn here is as much as I can around dying and printing with natural dyes on natural sustainable fabrics. Thanks for the warm Welcome Melissa.
