6 contributions to Real Estate Note Investors
How Some Investors Get Paid Without Owning Property
I’ve been in the property space for a while, and like most people, I started out focusing on owning physical property, BTL, BRRR, sourcing deals. But over time, I started noticing another side of the industry that not many people talk about… Note investing. The idea of generating income from property without dealing with tenants, refurbs, or day to day management is something many investors overlook. At the same time, one of the biggest challenges I’ve seen in property is cash flow pressure, especially when you’re scaling and constantly reinvesting into deals. That’s why I’ve been paying more attention to strategies that can create more predictable income streams alongside property, to reduce reliance on constant refinancing or external funding. So I’m curious: What’s your first thought when you hear “note investing”, opportunity, confusion, or something you’ve never really explored?
Starting this week with a quick thought for anyone in real estate…
A few years ago I almost walked away from the property business. Deals falling through. Funding pressure. Learning lessons the hard way. What helped me push through was discovering strategies that support my real estate journey and reduce the pressure many investors face. One thing I’ve learned: The people who win in this business aren’t the ones who never struggle, they’re the ones who adjust and keep going. New week, new opportunities. What’s one lesson real estate has taught you so far?
STOP WAITING, SUCCESS IN REAL ESTATE IS NOT LUCK.
One thing I’ve learned after years in real estate… The difference between those who struggle and those who win is STRATEGY, not effort. I faced challenges that almost made me quit. But once I learned the right approach, everything changed. Deals became clearer. Decisions became smarter. Growth became consistent. The truth? The right knowledge can save you years of mistakes. If you’re serious about building wealth through real estate… what is the biggest challenge holding you back right now?

Welcome to the group, Rodney! I’ve been in the rental space for years myself, and it’s been a journey full of lessons and growth. Lately, I’ve also been exploring notes as a way to create more predictable cash flow and reduce management headaches. I’m always open to sharing what’s been working for me and learning from others’ experiences too. What inspired you to join this community, and what goals are you hoping to achieve as you transition from rentals into notes?
