The Skill That Changed Everything For Me…
We all have that one skill; the one that changed how we think, work, or earn. Maybe it was learning how to manage money. Maybe it was mastering communication. Or maybe it was discovering the power of AI tools. For me, it was realizing that skills compound just like money - the more you learn, the faster your growth accelerates. And this is why I invested over $200k in self-education over the past 3-4 years. So let’s make today interactive 👇 "Don’t wish it were easier. Wish you were better" said Jim Rohn. So what’s one skill you learned that completely changed your life or career? Share it below and you might just inspire someone else to start their journey today.

A really basic one. When I was in high school, I did a 'course' on typing. I can't remember how long I did it for, but it was only during one year level (I was around 14 at the time). I can still touch type really fast, even today, over 40 years later.

@Anna Bernard I have one side hustle to pay for my other side hustle. Ha, ha! It will be a while before I start making money from my books as I am still building an audience and that could take some time. What are you writing, Anna? How far are you in your journey?

Fix Your Personal Brand
We often hear “a personal brand will build itself” - but the harsh truth is that a mismatched or inconsistent brand brings more friction than traction. Marina Panova shares on LinkedIn six practical fixes to recalibrate a broken personal brand and turn it into a growth engine. Key take-aways: 1. Clarify who you serve - and what you uniquely offer. 2. Make sure your messaging aligns across platforms. 3. Showcase your value through consistent action, not just words. 4. Align your visual identity and content themes with your brand promise. 5. Get clear on your next offer, next move, and what you want people to feel when they interact with you. 6. Monitor and refine: a brand isn’t built once - it evolves as you do. If you’re a business owner, entrepreneur or digital creator, looking to attract the right opportunities (not just any), this short read is worth your time. Take a moment to reflect: -Where is your brand misaligned right now? -What’s the easiest fix you could implement this week? -How will you measure progress? Let’s use this as a springboard for your next-level brand build. Where is your brand misaligned right now? I wear too many hats - online high school teacher (that provides my income so I can do all my other stuff), author of a new series of books on energy, director of a local running club I set up 15 years ago. What’s the easiest fix you could implement this week? Building consistency by sending out a weekly email on a Tuesday (would prefer two emails per week, but I'll start with one for now). How will you measure progress? The open rate of my emails. 40% for this week, 3 unsubscribes (which I count as a good thing at this stage.)
