Last month we did treat stencils and I forgot to show you guys this video from a few years ago... this is such an easy and fun way to make your hot holiday drinks a little extra festive!!

I flew in yesterday with my mom, brother and sister for my best friend’s dad’s funeral. This wasn’t just my best friend’s dad. He was like a second father to me, a very dear family friend and the best person I have ever known, no exaggeration. The kindest, most loving example of Jesus I have ever witnessed and I have known him since I was four years old. He literally took in people who didn’t have a place to stay for as long as they needed it, he visited those in prison and helped anyone who needed anything, and I never once in the 40 years I have known him seen him get impatient or angry with anyone. The funeral is today and he requested that we all wear white and not to be sad for him. I’m not sad for him (I’m happy for him because I know where he is now and it’s way better than here 😉😇) but I admit it’s still going to hard. The funeral is today and I know it’s going to feel heavy, but moments like this always remind me why I love this community. Crafting has this quiet way of calming my mind and giving me something soft to hold onto when life feels a little too hard.
