I have obtained information concerning the Ice Rink in Gadsden, AL for reference. See below: The company that built the new real-ice portable ice rink for Gadsden, AL is Bob Smith Construction. Gadsden City Council approved a $535,353 contract with this company to build the real-ice rink for the 2024-2025 Christmas season. The city of Gadsden owns this portable real-ice rink. The 1st rink used for the 2023 Christmas season was a synthetic ice rental rink from the vendor, Total Entertainment. Gadsden City Council approved an $87,750 contract with this vendor to set up the temporary synthetic ice rink. (The City did not own this rink as it was a rental.)
