This bud caught my eye this morning - it’s gonna bloom in September??? Wanted to capture the moment - @Michelle Cyr, would you have used a different composition for the photo (is there the correct terminology?)

I am repainting my baby room (ummmm…. My last baby is 16 years old, so I think it’s time I reclaimed this room!!!) Window faces East and gets fabulous morning sun! I want to preserve the baby paintings at the top of the wall and just cover the bottom half with the new paint I have - How can I make it look awesome and intentional rather than like I’m a sentimental Mama who can get let go of the past… Which I am, I just don’t wanna look like one iykyk It’s 1:30 pm right now 😝😭

So acrylic can be used as gesso under oil paint, yes? Is there anything else to know? Does the acrylic need to be of a certain quality? Do you need to achieve the right thickness? Like I don't know what I don't know!
