Self forgiveness and self love…
On today’s amazing Clarity Call we talked about letting go of past regrets, shame, and guilt with SO much self forgiveness and self love. There’s a tendency to be so hard on ourselves and feel like forgiveness can mean we’re not sorry for past mistakes, or even that it may leave the door open to do the same again. We get to “correct and continue”… learn from the past and move forward. Just like forgiving anyone else, it doesn’t mean we condone what happened, but it also isn’t a reflection of WHO we are, it was a behaviour choice we get to grow from… there’s no benefit to repeat-self-punish for it. Your liberation is in moving forward, loving yourself so hard, and LIVING your best life. Which is also the best gift we can give others we love… being the example of self forgiveness is like permission to not hold into the worst and focus on the best. Imagine a life where you are fully free from guilt, regret, and shame and nothing bad happens because of it. You can have that today if you choose it. Where can you madly and completely love and forgive yourself right now? 🌸

Great call! It’s the second one I’ve been able to make, and both of them have been full of very uplifting energy. Energy that I know is being carried through the whole week, and seeding some noticeable changes in my life already! 🤗

@Jenifer Merifield there’s some I will have to pop into a bit late, and maybe leave a bit early frim, but they are all in my calendar!

In general I’ve had alot more energy and less anxiety than what I feel is “typical” for me… but no circumstances in my life have really changed… So I know it’s mostly from making a point to change the stories I am telling myself about my life. And even the changes in that department have been small! No big, waking up every morning and saying a bunch of stuff while I look at myself in the mirror, or any big sweeping changes in thought or actions… It’s just been small thought “adjustments” in the moment when I notice a heavy or negative thought about something starting to play in my mind (or come out my mouth!) Haven’t even really been journaling about any of it in an organized way. I guess one of the new “thought things” I’ve had playing in the background is “actions don’t have to be big, sweeping, rushed or even hard to make progress” I also am very aware that this new lightness has been around ever since my first live call with @Jenifer Merifield a couple weeks ago! 🥰

@Jenifer Merifield yes, even things that freshens things up like carpet cleaning just elevates the whole feeling of the room. Sometimes even just moving the furniture around to a new set up brings an energy uplift! This whole house wide project has been an adventure of learning from U of Y (University of YouTube 😜😂) and alot of “phone a friend” moments! (thankfully I have lots of friends that are knowledgeable in many of the areas I need) One retired electrical engineer came over a couple days a week for a few months walking me through how to upgrade a whole lot of my electrical and making sure it was better (and safer!) than what I had… he let me work along side him because I wanted to learn the basics. On the plumbing side, I have adult sons that have been helpful redoing stuff that needed upgrading badly (switching out some cast iron stuff for PVC) one bathroom has been completely done… two 1970’s bathrooms to go 😝 The last couple weekends involved laying vinyl plank flooring in a small mother in law suite on the side of my house. This weekend is baseboard & trim work.

@Jenifer Merifield yes! The “fun part!” In fact today someone is coming to help me know what to do to repair a cracked joist under my house that I discovered when I was ripping up old flooring to put down new. It stopped me in my tracks for awhile because I don’t want to put down any more new flooring when part of my house was going to get jacked up to a different (straighter!) angle. I’m actually soon starting a Skool group, and part of it will be before and after takes of my continuing home Reno journey. I’ve built lots of friendship here on Skool and they are always asking how things are going and wanting to see pictures, so I figured instead of always trying to post the same thing in multiple places I’ll just put it all together in a group that anyone who wants to be updated could join!
10 x Is Easier Than 2x
Imagine the idea that you can do LESS and have wayyyyy more success? That's precisely the philosophy here (and it's proven). Check out this new decode here. This book is all about identity integration, everything we love to talk about here in the Art of Integration. The ideas may surprise you, and may also help you make shifts quickly! Of course, there are cautions to potential misunderstandings... I got you on those, and on how to integrate this brilliance into your life. Here's to faster, easier success that lasts, who wants some of that?? 🤚

I need to check this out… I’ve seen this title but definitely did judge it by its cover and never looked into it… I wrote it off as another bro productivity book 😬

@Jenifer Merifield @Kristian Lamo I was thinking of asking the same thing… painting as in pictures, or painting as in walls. I’m trying to act like I’m selling my house, then staying in it! (I had one house I made beautiful because I wanted to sell it… and after felt sad I had never just done all the upgrades for myself when I lived there… so that's the plan this time!

I’ve been struggling for along time to deal with and remove clutter. I moved YEARS ago and brought too much with me, and I still have a garage out back full of boxes and bins… I know there are many layers of “why” I keep too much, but I think “one thing” I can start with is to stop keeping things for “just in case” I can let things go to others who can use them now, and make space for what I need to come perfectly when it is needed.
