No matter what yesterday looked like, today is a brand new opportunity. God has already gone before you. His grace is sufficient. His strength is made perfect in weakness. This morning is not a repeat of yesterday. It is a new seed placed in your hands. Before the rush, before the noise, take a moment to surrender your thoughts and your steps to the Lord. Ask Him to lead you. Ask Him to be seen in you today. You may not feel strong, but His strength is made perfect in weakness. You may not have all the answers, but you have His presence. Speak life today. Think higher today. Trust deeper today. Let this be the morning you walk with expectancy, knowing God is still working in and through you. This morning God had me in different parts of His Word. I came across this passage '12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. ' John 1:12-14 This made me stop and think Yes, we are all created by God. Every person on this earth was created by Him. Even Satan himself was created by God before his fall. But being created by God does not automatically make someone a child of God. The Bible is very clear that becoming a child of God happens through Jesus Christ. Scripture says that those who receive Him and believe in His name are given authority to become children of God, being born not by human effort or natural birth, but born of God. Jesus Himself made a clear distinction when He told those who rejected Him, “You are of your father the devil.” That shows there is a difference between being God’s creation and being part of God’s family. God loves everyone and desires that all would come to repentance. The invitation is open to all. But until someone repents and receives Jesus as Lord and Savior, they are not a child of God according to Scripture. We are created by God, yes. We become children of God through Christ alone. John 1:12–13John 8:44

In Luke 5:17-20 some friends hear Jesus is coming to town so they bring their paralyzed friend to him for healing. When they seen there was no way in they lowered their friend through the roof to Jesus. Jesus forgave the paralyzed man of his sins, then to prove he was God healed him. Well I am a quadriplegic and 3 years ago Jesus performed a miracle in my life. After I was injured I spent years hating God. But through a series of events orchestrated by God I ended up at elevation church while we traveling to Asheville. The Baptismal pool had stairs and as a wheelchair user I could not get in, but God provided friends and like the paralyzed man in Luke 5 I was lowered into the pool for Jesus to Forgive my sins. Steven Furitick baptized me, I wasn't expecting that but it was really a gift from God because Elevation worship played a big role in me returning to faith in Christ. I wasn't physically healed that day but I was spiritually healed, all my anger and sorrow was Left behind in the water.
