That is an interesting question. I side with you. I see when i’m not in a good mood to be quiet and still. See can turn my bad mood into a good mood. And also it’s super fun to see when i’m a good mood.

@Susan Fick when my daughter who is 6 wants to see it’s a nice time for us to bond so i agree.
Stitch of the Day
Its the entire process for me. From coming up with an idea, making and testing it out, perfecting it and finally having a project I am truly proud of!

hum of my machine. the action of cutting and ironing and just knowing that this is something my mom and grandma used to do and it connects me with them.

For me it is a way to have alone time. It’s a time for me to connect with myself again and think. Sometimes when doing patterns and new projects it gives me focus on something different to give my mind a rest. Sewing is fun, relaxing and for me practical because I tend to make things we use around the house.
Cheaters and Seam Ripper
Anyone else need cheaters when the seam ripper comes out?

@Suzanne Krasnow you are so funny…yes, I have it the right way….giggle. I’m just being silly. I actually work slowly and don’t need to rip out as much because I hate to rip out seams. When I do, I go even slower and go one stitch at a time. I’ve seen other use an electric razor but that scares me to try it.
