Where I Am
Ok so my moving situation is different than most - see we bought a “turn-key” place which is awesome right? In some ways yes - lots of stuff stays so I don’t have to move it But we also still have the condo and switching stuff isn’t going as quickly as I thought We just got internet Friday at 5pm (it was supposed to be between 8-10am) The desk isn’t set up (I’m hoping maybe tomorrow) so I haven’t brought my desktop over which is all disconnected So of course I’m behind in my editing world. NC stuff IS coming - I can’t record on my laptop because it just doesn’t work very well as it’s not stable (my lap moves as Bugsy jumps everywhere - plus ok he’s confused with all the packing so he’s barking at everything) I’m slow but I am getting there! If my desk doesn’t get setup in the next day or so I will need to postpone the AG class (don’t shoot me yet) by a few days to a week tops. I’ll know this tomorrow 💗 but I’m giving you a heads up just in case. Please no rotten tomatoes just yet… 😉

Workflow in Antigravity
I know you may get tired of hearing AG stuff (haven't decided if I'm just going to call her "Aggie" and yes I have decided AG is female vs both claude and chat being male in my world)..... but I'm sharing anyways We created a workflow inside the system to write the chapters of the books without me having to tell it each time. If you are creating this within your own AG set up - ask it to create it for your specific book/series. It DOES write multiple chapters at a time when I ask it (I usually go for 3-4 at a time now) 1. **Context & Preparation** - Identify the current **Series** and **Book Number** from the user's request or active workspace. - Locate and read the following key files. Use `find_by_name` if paths are not immediately obvious: - **Series Bible**: (e.g., `Series_Bible.md`) for characters, setting, and ongoing plots. - **Style Guide**: (e.g., `style_guide.md`) for tone, voice, and formatting rules. - **Chapter Outline**: (e.g., `Book_X_Chapter_Outline.md`) for the specific scenes, beats, and ending hooks. - **Previous Chapter**: The file of the chapter immediately preceding the target chapter (for continuity of time, location, mood). 2. **Plan the Chapter** - Based on the read materials, outline the following before writing: - **POV**: Confirm the Point of View characters (e.g., First Person/Andi Steele). - **Goal**: Define the chapter's main objective. - **Sensory Details**: List 3-5 key details relevant to the setting (sights, sounds, smells, food). - **B-Plot**: Identify any B-plot elements or relationship tension to advance. 3. **Drafting** - Create or overwrite the chapter file (e.g., `Book_X/Chapter_XX.md`). - Write the content following this structure: - **Opening**: Start with a strong observational hook, immediate action, or reactive beat. - **Middle**: Advance the plot. If applicable, mix "competence moments" (job/skill related) with "plot/mystery moments".

This is helpful - thank you :)
Antigravity Class for Series is LIVE
Thinking About the Antigravity Class? Here’s the Deal 🙂 If you’re already using AI to write, you’ve probably hit the annoying part by now. You know the tools work… but you’re still: Re-feeding context Fixing continuity slips Watching the AI forget things it just knew Doing way more cleanup than you should be That’s not you. That’s the chat-based workflow showing its limits. What This Class Actually Covers This isn’t a craft class and it’s not “AI 101.” This is about upgrading how you work with AI when you’re writing a series, a shared universe, or anything bigger than a single short story. We use Antigravity, a technical editor built for large projects, and repurpose it for fiction. Why? Because a book series behaves like a system: - Characters function like variables - World rules are constraints - Lore is a living reference set Antigravity lets AI read your files first—so it writes with your series instead of guessing. The Easy AF Part (For Real) No coding. No programming background needed. Everything is file-based and human-readable. You open a folder, the AI reads your “bible” files automatically, and you give clear commands instead of chatting. That’s it. What Happens in the Live Workshop In the Antigravity workshop, we’ll build your Series Engine together: - You’ll get my exact Series Starter Kit (folder structure included) - We’ll set everything up step by step - You’ll be able to step away and write your first book No prep required. No homework beforehand. We will also have a brief bonus session (date TBD) when I will show you how to continue your EXISTING series! Honestly - if you are ready to step up from Claude but you still like that style of writing - this will blow your mind once you figure out how easy it CAN be. Class is LIVE in the Classroom! (ok this GIF is cracking me up)

Yaaaayyyy-thank you👍🏻
Question for the People 🥳
Do most of you write in series or stand alone? Why am I asking? I’m planning the Antigravity class and I have a thought but I figured I would check with you 🥰

2026 - What Do You WANT to Learn for Your Author Business?
I am thinking of a million things so y'all need to help me narrow them down. What are things you would like to learn about for 2026? I know about running pen names - I am actually working on showing different methods so it works for different people (knowing I am awful at this but at the same time seem to have 5-6 pen names?) What else? I was thinking how to write X # of books for rapid releasing? Running this as a BUSINESS (ie Mindset) vs a hobby. Setting goals and making them happen. Talk to me people!!!

@Rene Webb -I agree. On the flip side I worry I am too picky 😆 I see covers I wouldn’t publish on books that are rocking it all the time😅. Maybe I need to add learning to execute even when things aren’t perfect to my list 😬😁

@Jennifer Jensen - but do they produce high quality stuff? Not yet-lol. And they are collecting dust as I play with antigravity 😬😜 Systems are my happy place-all those flows are not essential.🙂
