If you aren’t using social media to market…
how are you planning on getting sales? Are you going to be doing more in person sales through vendor events? Do you have a giant email list you’ve built over the years that you will be taping into? Let us know other ways you can market your book besides social media. (But also, I’m a strong believer that you definitely SHOULD be using it 😁)

@Maria Kim That's great to hear! Congratulations on seeing sales from your books. As fellow authors, we both know how rewarding it is to see readers discovering and enjoying our work. I've learned that promotion can make a huge difference. For a long time, I struggled to get consistent results until I connected with an experienced publishing and book promotion mentor. They helped me with editing, publishing guidance, and marketing strategies that have made a real impact. Since then, I've been seeing much more consistent sales and reader engagement across my books. I'd definitely be interested in hearing about the strategies that have worked for you as well. It's always valuable to exchange ideas with other authors. Out of curiosity, what stage are you currently focused on right now? Are you mainly promoting your existing books, working on a new manuscript, or preparing another book for publication? I look forward to learning more about your journey and sharing insights along the way.
The right advice at the right time can save years of frustration.
As an online business owner, I've learned that progress isn't always about working harder. Sometimes it's about avoiding the mistakes that slow you down in the first place. I've faced plenty of challenges in my journey, overthinking decisions, trying to learn everything on my own, and spending time on things that didn't move me forward. What made the biggest difference was getting guidance from people who had already achieved the results I was aiming for. That's one reason I enjoy communities like this. Whether you're writing your first book or your tenth, there's always something to learn from someone else's experience. So I'd love to hear from fellow writers and publishers here: What's the biggest challenge you're facing right now in your publishing journey? Is it writing, editing, publishing, marketing, or getting reviews? What's one lesson you wish you had known earlier? Don't keep your struggles to yourself. Often, the answer you're looking for is sitting in someone else's experience. Let's learn from each other. What do you need help with most right now?
