Your Pricing Reflects More Than Your Strategy
I used to undercharge because I assumed people couldn’t afford my services. It sounded considerate—but I was making the decision for them and avoiding the discomfort of fully owning the value of my work. That can look like lowering your price, adding unnecessary bonuses, or giving away coaching before someone commits. Before changing your price, ask: “Does the price need to change—or am I uncomfortable being valued at this level?” You don’t need to convince everyone. Clearly name the value, share the investment, and allow them to decide. 💭 What comes up when you say your price out loud?

@John Richard Lloyd-Hughes I really appreciate this perspective. I think there’s a big difference between underpricing from a place of self doubt and intentionally pricing for impact. It sounds like you’ve made a conscious decision that aligns with your values and mission. The fact that your toolkit is helping more community owners while your community continues to grow suggests you’ve found a sustainable balance. When our pricing reflects our purpose instead of our fear, it creates a very different kind of business. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Your posts sit in drafts. "𝗜'𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸" is on repeat. The camera stays off, even though you know it would grow your business faster than anything else you're doing. I’m Speaking at the Soulful Marketing Magic Summit!
My recorded presentation will be available August 10 and the summit, running August 6–10 My session is called: Why Knowing Isn’t Doing Have you ever known exactly what you needed to do—but still couldn’t seem to begin, follow through, or sustain the momentum? It isn’t always a motivation or strategy problem. Sometimes the real issue is capacity. During this 30-minute session, I’ll introduce you to The Capacity Audit a framework I created around six places where your energy and momentum can leak without you realizing it: ✨ Input ✨ Processing ✨ Architecture ✨ Output ✨ Review ✨ Recovery We won’t have time to explore all six in depth, so we’re going deeper into the three that often hit the hardest: 🧠 Processing: Where decisions, information, and mental load begin piling up ⚡ Output: What interferes with turning what you know into consistent action 🌿 Recovery: Why rest doesn’t always restore your capacity and what may be missing Bring something to write with because this isn’t just a presentation. You’ll be using the framework to identify where your own momentum may be quietly leaking. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of why knowing hasn’t automatically translated into doing and the first place to begin closing that gap. Join me at the Soulful Marketing Magic Summit, August 3rd–10 ✨ Grab your seat here: [REGISTRATION LINK]

@James McDonald Thanks.
Why I Said Yes to the Summit
I said yes to speaking at the summit because I see too many capable entrepreneurs blaming themselves when their growth stalls. They have the strategy. They know what to do. They’re passionate about their work. But they keep overthinking decisions, avoiding visibility, changing direction, working past their capacity, or freezing right before the next step. That’s why I’m sharing: The Dysregulated Foundation: Why Your Nervous System Is the Real Ceiling on Your Growth This topic matters to me because the problem often isn’t your plan—it’s the foundation you’re trying to build from. During my session, I’ll walk you through The Capacity Audit, a practical framework built around six pillars that reveals where your energy, focus, and momentum may be quietly draining. You’ll leave knowing: ✨ Your biggest capacity bottleneck ✨ The protection pattern that may be running the show ✨ Why more strategy hasn’t solved it ✨ The first step you can take to begin changing it I said yes because I want leaders and entrepreneurs to stop seeing these patterns as personal failures—and start building growth their nervous system can actually sustain.
