Book Sirens
NetGalley is ÂŁ500 for 6 months. Submitted my books to BookSirens instead. Will let you all know how I get on and will see if I can create a guide for future joiners.

@Matthew Mason essentially yes but from what I have read, you list your book for a fee and then they find your readers, of which most leave a review. Booksires has a pay per read and you can limit the amount of people.
NetGalley
Has anyone used NetGalley before either as a writer or reader?

So NetGalley is where readers can apply to read new authors books and give them a review on goodreads/amazon. The author can add their books but there is a fee. You pay per read which I think is something like ÂŁ1. The audience is variable and the reviews are completely honest.

@Matthew Mason it’s the platform that you pay to host your book on. But you can approve reviewers for your book, based upon whether or not you find them the right fit for it. If you look on Amazon or Goodreads, a good number of the reviews come from NetGalley and always honest so some reviews can be 1 star. Book sirens is only £10 fee to host it but pay per read.
