The Messy Kitchen 🍳 — 12 Weeks of Healthy, Budget-Friendly Meals
Let's have a real serious talk about food: "𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆" 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 when you're tired, busy, trying to be healthy, and watching your budget. So for the next 12 Tuesdays, that's exactly what we're tackling in The Messy Kitchen: 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀 that don't need a specialist diet, a fully-stocked pantry, or hours you don't have. Every week you'll get one recipe built around three things: - it has to be quick, - it has to be genuinely good for you, - and it has to be kind to your wallet. I'll break down the ingredients, the time it actually takes, why it's good for your body, how to make it even cheaper, and one fun fact because food should still be a little bit fun. This isn't about perfection. It's about becoming a bit more aware of what's going into your body, one Tuesday at a time, and proving to yourself that "healthy" and "affordable" aren't opposites. Your turn: what's the number one thing that makes healthy eating feel hard for you right now: time, money, motivation, or just not knowing what to cook? Drop it in the comments. It'll help me make sure this series actually solves the right problem. 👇 AND - if you have a special recipe you'd like to share - send me a DM. Claim your place in the spotlight. The entire series will be built into a course in the classroom so that you can easily access all the recipes. If you share a recipe with us, you will enter The Messy Kitchen HALL of FAME. Recipe 1 drops next Tuesday.

For me it's honestly the season, in summer I naturally reach for salads and fruit and water and it feels effortless, but the second it gets cold all I want is hot chocolate, stews, carbs, comfort food, and I want to eat all day long, so if I'm honest my number one thing is motivation, it just disappears the moment winter hits. Looking forward to summer
FUTURE YOU CHECK-IN 🔥
You don’t become your future self overnight. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. Every choice you make today is casting a vote for the person you’re becoming. So, let’s make this practical: What is ONE decision, habit, or courageous action you will commit to today as part of becoming unstoppable? Share yours in the comments. 👇 Mine is: Finishing Evelyn's course to learn how to create a community that is a safe place, interactive and built for YOU! Then, to action the learnings. Let’s hold one another accountable and take this journey one courageous step at a time. 💪

My future check in is to live more, which is also your theme of the month feeling alive or aliveness. I caught myself getting so caught up in routine that I forget to actually live, so my courageous action this month was scheduling my community work ahead of time and packing a bag to go see my daughter for a few days, today we did breakfast, window shopping, good conversations, nothing productive and that was the whole point, go live a little this week 🌿
What if the world you see isn't what you think it is?…
What if it is really a reflection of YOU? George Bernard Shaw once said, "𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁; 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱." The way you feel inside: - your beliefs, - your past, - your emotional clutter, All this clouds how you experience everything outside: - Relationships. - Opportunities. - Even joy. But what if the filter you're looking through isn't even yours? Think about the roles you play every day: - the provider, - the fixer, - the one who's always fine, - the version of you that shows up for everyone else. Somewhere along the way, those roles started running the show, and the real you got quieter. That's why we all need identity work. Not fixing who you are, but clearing away who you're not, so you can see, and be, the real authentic you again. It's time to clean the window! It’s time to set down the roles that aren't you. It’s time to reconnect with your authentic self and see your world clearly again. Comment "Authentic" if you're ready to rediscover your purpose and let the real you shine. I'm here to guide you back to your truth. #AuthenticLiving #IdentityCoaching #HealingJourney #InnerClarity #ReclaimYourPower #LiveOnPurpose #SelfAwareness #EmotionalWellness #PersonalGrowth #LifeCoach #SpiritualAwakening #TransformationJourney #ClearLight #BeRealBeYou

I love the quote and analogy; it really makes me wonder if I am viewing my life through clean windows.
The Messy Kitchen 🍫 — The Best Cup of Hot Chocolate Ever
It is COLD tonight. ❄️ If you're anywhere in South Africa right now, you're probably also wrapped in every blanket you own, wondering if it's socially acceptable to wear a beanie indoors (it is). On nights like this, there's only one thing I go for to warm me up — my favourite cup of hot chocolate. Not the sad, watery, sachet kind. The real, rich, melt-in-your-hands kind that turns "I'm freezing" into "actually, this winter thing isn't so bad." So, I'm sharing the recipe with you. Here it is - and there's a downloadable PDF for you to print out and pop in your recipe book at home. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 Makes 1 generous mug (I always like to go for the biggest mug possible) • 1 cup full-cream milk (or your favourite milk alternative - I use Macadamia Milk (Buttanut)) • 2 tbsp good-quality cocoa powder (not the standard hot chocolate pre-mix) • 1–2 tbsp sugar or honey, to taste (I prefer honey or coconut sugar for a healthier alternative) • 30g dark chocolate, chopped or grated • A pinch of salt (trust me on this one - I use Himalayan pink salt) • Splash of vanilla extract • Optional: a cinnamon stick or a pinch of cinnamon or a dash of chilli flakes for extra warmth Method: 1. Warm the milk gently in a small pot over low-medium heat - don't let it boil (I don't use the microwave, but it also can work). 2. Whisk in the cocoa powder and sugar or honey until fully dissolved and no lumps remain. 3. Add the chopped dark chocolate and keep whisking until melted and glossy. 4. Stir in the pinch of salt and a splash of vanilla - this is what takes it from "nice" to "best ever." 5. Pour into your favourite mug, top with whatever you love (marshmallows, cream, a dusting of cinnamon), and wrap both hands around it. 6. Sip slowly. Ignore all responsibilities for the next ten minutes. Grab the printable recipe card below and keep it on the fridge for the rest of winter. 🍫 Your turn: What's your ultimate hot chocolate topping? Is it marshmallows, cream, or something more adventurous? Drop it in the comments. I want to steal your ideas for next time. 👇

Perfect for today's weather, thank you for sharing. I guess cream and mini marshies. I also love a Lindt Dark Chocolate on the side.🍫
🎨 COLOUR POP IS BACK — grab your crayons, this one's a good one!
I have a confession: I've been sitting on this month's reveal for weeks because I was way too excited - I almost couldn't contain myself. Meet our August muse, 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝘀: the woman who looked at design software and decided it was way too complicated for regular humans (like us), and built Canva instead. No big deal, just a tool now used by millions of us to make pretty things without a design degree in sight. She's straight out of Dezré Little's gorgeous Radiant Ventures Vol. 1 colouring book, which is a whole collection of colouring in pages celebrating 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 "𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲" 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 "𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗲." Bold dreams, glow-up stories, quotes that'll hit you right in the chest while you're just trying to stay inside the lines. Here's the bit that inspirec me: Melanie didn't build Canva for designers. She built it for everyone else. The people who never thought "creative" applied to them. That's the whole plot twist. Access over exclusivity. And honestly? That's my kind of claiming-your-space energy. So while you're colouring her in, toss this question around in your head: 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵? HOW TO PLAY (still ridiculously simple): 1️⃣ Download the picture below 2️⃣ Colour her in using crayons, gel pens, acrylic - it doesn't matter, there are no rules 3️⃣ Snap a pic + drop it in the comments 🏆 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗭𝗘: the winning entry walks away with a 𝗥𝟮𝟱𝟬 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 to treat yourself. 🗓️ 𝗞𝗘𝗬 𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦: Entries close: Monday, 31 August 2026 Winner announced: shortly after, so keep this tab open 👀 Grab your pencils, your kid's crayon box, whatever's within arm's reach and let's get colourful. I can't wait to see what she becomes in your hands. Happy colouring!
