We Built Leaders. We Forgot the Goal Was Christlikeness.
We’ve mastered leadership development—vision, strategy, communication, management. But the goal was never to create skilled leaders. It was to raise up people who walk as Jesus walked. “Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.” (1 John 2:6). Leadership skills without Christlikeness? That’s just Christian-flavored management. Subscribe for articles & podcasts on raising disciples whose goal is Christlikeness.

I call this the "clanging cymbal syndrome" - lots of noise and religious performance without the process of dying to self allowing Christ to be formed in us. Gifts and skills are given and taught, character is "wrought" in the pursuit of true Christlikeness. Character is much better than skill without experience or depth. Christian flavoured management may demonstrate "fleshly orchestration" in place of Spirit led Wisdom. Lord help us!

This was such an informative session. I can't wait to see how God orchestrates and directs an "organic reformation" through the Nations. I'm looking forward to reading the book, and so thankful for the Wisdom and experience of people willing to share and impart to people who want to be the difference in our walk with Jesus.

Love to see "light bulb" moments in people's lives that brings change. 😀 Kingdom minded, love Jesus, love people.
