The first meeting was a success! Thank you so much for those who came. I really enjoyed the discussion and we all learned something. Given that the holidays are coming up, our next meeting will be January 6th. The recording is below if you weren't able to make it live. Feel free to give me your ideas and feedback for making future meetings even better! In the meantime, here was everyone's accountability points and what they are going to work on before the next meeting: Lina: - Create a system to make video production more efficient (organizing B-roll, file naming, prompts, etc.). Alice: - Continue posting one long-form video every Monday (8–15 minutes). - Create at least two Shorts for the “Senior Gardener Secrets” channel, linking them to the long-form video. - Practice making Shorts using Lina’s advice (removing scenes, keeping B-roll, changing to portrait, etc.). - Aim to reach 300 subscribers (currently two away), with a long-term goal of 500 by 2026. Maria: - Finish the voiceover video currently in progress. Ted: - Try exporting a revised video from Descript, downloading it locally, and uploading it directly to YouTube to resolve an issue with video replacement. Ross: - Complete a travel video that has been delayed due to the large amount of footage.

I'm super excited for this group! This is an idea I've had for over two years but I kept putting it off: a mastermind for Youtube. This is a place to get together and share wins and losses, give each other feedback, and help each other grow. I envision one day having small break out groups for Youtubers in different niches, demographics, and geographies. And someday having big in-person conferences.
