Book/Podcast/App Recommendations?
Hi all! I would love to start a thread where everyone can share their recommendations for books, podcasts, apps, etc. I am currently reading The Power of Your Subconscious Mind, which was recommended by @Chris Grieder in a session and I love it. I also just watched the full video of David Bayer that Chris posted and it turns out he has a podcast which I am excited to listen to called a Changed Mind. I would love any and all of your recommendations as well and I think we can all benefit from having one thread to find them 😃 📚

Thank you everyone for the book recommendations! I just bought "Ask and it's Given" that has been mentioned here a few times. So excited to read it. I also love "Power of Subconscious Mind". Love the affirmations and ideas behind it. Does anyone know if I"m supposed to say it out loud or okay to say it in my head? Also, I'm catching up on the recordings and in the "Assigning Meanings", someone asked Chris about money blocks, and Chris said he'd share a video on a money-related mediation or something like that. I don't see it posted here; can anyone please let me know if it has been provided? Thank you!
Non-resistance Question
Hi Everyone! I have a question that has been bothering me for a while. How do we reconcile releasing resistance (i.e., not placing too much importance on our desires and instead think in terms of "oh, would be nice if that happens but it's okay if it doesn't) with a necessity of actually doing something to reach our goals? For instance, if we want to launch a successful business or develop a skill, we need to spend multiple hours every day working on that goal but at the same time we can't want it too much because we'd be sending a message that we're lacking something and if we chase something, it runs... I feel like by spending so much of my time and energy on trying to accomplish my goal, I automatically place resistance. Is there a way to reconcile these two? Hope that makes sense. Thanks!!

Thank you, Matthew! You explained it perfectly ❤️
Tips on meditating
Hi, everyone! I am about to sit down and meditate, third day «streak», but I have never really done it before and I have no idea what I am doing. I try to take your advice Chris on not being to strict with myself if any thoughts or stress pop up, and I try to just sit there with my eyes closed, breathing slowly for 10 mins. But I would love to hear some more tips or advice from more experienced meditators! 🧘🏼‍♀️ Thankyou in advance! 🌸

I've been meditating for 7 days straight. I put a timer for 10 minutes but put the phone away from me so it doesn't spook me too much when the bell goes off lol! I first just try to relax and settle in and then I do box breathing. Inhale through the nose on 4 counts, hold 4 counts, exhale through the mouth on 4 counts and hold again for 4 counts. I imagine a box and how I'm drawing its sides with each time I inhale, exhale or hold. I dot that for a few minutes and then just sit still and if a thought comes I catch it, and imagine how I'm at a train station and put that thought on the train and it leaves the station (me). It's been getting easier every day! I also say to myself affirmations/positive statements at the end. Hope that helps!
