ChatGPT 101: How Going Blind Helped Me Master ChatGPT
Let’s be real—running a business as a mom is already a challenge. Add in being permanently partially blind, and things get even trickier. But guess what? I found a way to work smarter, not harder, and ChatGPT became my secret weapon. If you’ve never used it before, ChatGPT is an AI tool that helps you brainstorm, write, edit, and problem-solve—all through typing or voice commands. It’s like having a business bestie who’s always down to help (and never needs coffee breaks). ✨ How Going Blind Made Me a ChatGPT Pro Before losing my sight, I never thought I’d depend on AI for my daily life. I could type, edit, and read with ease, so I didn’t see the need for it. But once my vision changed, I had to find a way to keep creating and running my business without relying on my eyes. At first, it wasn’t easy. Voice commands felt clunky, and I had to figure out how to get clear, useful responses without seeing the text. But over time, I learned how to speak better prompts, refine my questions, and use ChatGPT to fill in the gaps where my vision couldn’t. Now? I use it better than ever. What started as a necessity became one of my biggest strengths—because when you rely on something daily, you get really good at making it work for you. Here’s how I actually use it now: ✨ Getting Things Written Without Seeing a Thing – Since I can’t read or edit the way I used to, I use ChatGPT’s voice command to speak my thoughts, and it helps me refine them—making sure my words hit just right. ✨ Engaging in Conversations (Without Struggling to Read) – When I can’t read a post or comment, I copy and paste it into ChatGPT, and it reads it aloud for me. Then, I dictate my response, paste it back, and boom—I’m in the conversation without skipping a beat. ✨ Running My Business Like a Boss – From writing emails to planning launches, ChatGPT helps me keep Rare & Bossy moving forward, no matter what challenges come my way. Want to give it a shot? Here’s how to get started: 🔥 Ask It for Ideas – Stuck on content? Need business inspo? Just ask!

10-Minute Growth Webinar Blueprint this is a GREAT way to do 1 to Many presentations
1. Choose Your Micro Offer Your micro offer is the low-cost, high-value entry point for your audience. Keep it simple, affordable, and impactful. Examples: - A free checklist or guide, such as "5 Steps to Skyrocket Your Social Media Growth." - A mini-course (e.g., "10-Minute Strategy for Growing Your Network Organically"). - A $7 workshop replay on building engagement through authentic connections. - A trial offer for a relevant product or tool (e.g., a 7-day software trial or sample). Key Tip: Ensure your micro offer solves a specific pain point your target audience has. 2. Define the Target Audience Know who you’re speaking to so the webinar resonates. Identify their: - Demographics: Age, interests, profession, etc. - Pain Points: What are they struggling with (e.g., building a personal brand, growing followers)? - Goals: What do they want to achieve (e.g., more engagement, higher sales, better systems)? Example: "Aspiring content creators who want to grow their audience and monetize their platforms." 3. Create the 10-Minute Webinar Script Keep the webinar tight and engaging. Use this outline: a. Hook (30 seconds) Start with an attention-grabbing statement that speaks to their pain points or desires. Example: “What if I told you there’s a simple, 10-minute strategy to grow your social media and attract your dream audience without paid ads?” b. Problem (2 minutes) Highlight the challenges your audience faces. Relate to their struggles. Example: “Are you overwhelmed by all the social media strategies out there? Do you feel like you’re spending hours posting with little to no engagement?” c. Solution (5 minutes) Introduce your micro offer as the solution. Explain why it’s different and how it solves their problem. Example: “This 5-step checklist is designed to help you identify your audience, boost engagement, and start conversations that convert.” d. Call to Action (2 minutes) Invite them to take the next step and make it easy. Example: “For just $7, you can grab this checklist today and start seeing results. Click below to get instant access.”

Angel, this blueprint is absolute gold! The 10-minute format is such a smart way to grab attention and deliver value without overwhelming your audience. I love how it balances simplicity with impact—making it super approachable even for someone just starting out. The focus on solving a specific pain point with a micro-offer really stands out. It’s such a great reminder that people don’t need fluff; they need actionable solutions. I also appreciate the emphasis on follow-up and scaling—it’s easy to overlook those steps, but they’re so crucial for long-term growth. Thanks for breaking this down so clearly. This post is a full-on roadmap! Can’t wait to put these steps into action.
Just getting started?
Here is my advice to someone just starting their growth journey.... find your first domino and commit to it relentlessly Your “first domino” is the single most important area of your business (or life) that, when addressed, will set off a chain reaction of momentum and progress everywhere else . It’s tempting to want to fix everything at once, but that only leads to overwhelm and little progress. Success isn’t about doing everything; it’s about doing the right thing. So how do you find your first domino? Start by asking yourself these questions: • What’s the biggest bottleneck holding me back right now? • What feels broken or chaotic in my life or business? • Where am I putting in the effort but not seeing results? Once you identify your focus, the key is commitment: showing up consistently, solving problems with intention, and staying disciplined even when it gets tough. This isn’t about perfection; it’s about progress. Start small—build momentum one win at a time. Like the saying goes, “How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time”

This is such powerful advice, Angel! I love the concept of finding your "first domino"—it’s such a simple yet profound way to prioritize. For me, identifying that bottleneck has always been a game-changer. When I started focusing on just one area instead of trying to tackle everything, I noticed that other parts of my business and life began to fall into place naturally. Your emphasis on commitment and consistency really resonates, too. It's not always about big, flashy moves; it’s the small, intentional steps that create lasting momentum. Thanks for sharing this—it’s a great reminder to slow down, focus, and trust the process!
