Quick tip for your IG carousels this week ๐Ÿ‘‡
Living photo carousels are getting serious traction right now. The concept is simple: mix short video clips with your still images instead of posting all photos. But here's what makes them work: the video needs to be lazy. Camera still. Just a little movement in the frame. Think a candle flickering, steam rising, leaves moving. Enough to feel alive, not enough to steal focus from what you're actually saying. Too much motion = your audience watches the clip and skips the copy. The sweet spot: one or two low-movement clips mixed with stills. Motion as a hook, not the main event. Worth testing on your next carousel. Are you already using video in your carousels, or is this new territory? โšก

and yes, this is new territory - haven't used video in a carousel yet! (but it's on the list now!)

Social Saturday- Share you Skool and Affiliates
Happy Saturday! Today is a beautiful and sunny day in Alberta so I'm heading outside to a patio for snacks and a drink or two. Let's celebrate the almost beginning of summer and share your Skool community and 1 to 2 affiliate links for other Skools. For ease please make each a separate comment and include a sentence or two for what they are about. Cheers ๐Ÿป ๐Ÿน

Another community that has been great for me is Pinterest Skool. I had an old (and I mean OOOOLLLLDD) Pinterest account that I learned how to revive and use to start driving traffic to my Skool communities - with very little effort and a whole lotta fun :)

@Stacey Watts when you're ready be ready to commit to consistency. I was consistent and grew my views to 20K/monthly, then I got distracted, ignored it, and am back down to 500 monthly views. Sigh. Building it up again!
On a scale of 1 to whatever....
I want to get something straight before I keep sharing resources in here. Where are you actually showing up online? List your platforms 1 to however many. Starting with the one you're most active on, ending with the one you check once a month and feel vaguely guilty about. ๐Ÿ˜„ I'm pulling this together so what I bring into this community lands where it's actually relevant for you. No point in me going deep on Instagram strategies if most of you are building on LinkedIn or vice versa. List yours below!

We are featured in Skool ad on Meta (Facebook)!!!!๐ŸŽŠ. The other day I spotted @Melissa Boster Menopause Skool on an ad. I'll keep watching for more! What is your small brag/win for this Friday morning?

Amazing!! I try not to be on FB a whole lot, but I'd love to see ads for communities I know and love. (Including mine, that would rock.) My win this week: I got major kudos from two of my dragon boat athletes... and it gave me all the feels!
Borrow the Room: What are your working on?
A reminder for our newer faces (and honestly, all of us): One of the fastest ways to gain clarity isnโ€™t doing more content. Itโ€™s letting other smart humans into your thinking. Borrow the room is a simple, low-pressure way to do that. This is a collaboration prompt. Not a pitch. Not a performance. The goal is to get our community talking, asking better questions, and spotting opportunities together. Post the following: 1๏ธโƒฃ What youโ€™re working on right now (keep it short. Think context, not a backstory) 2๏ธโƒฃ One question or decision youโ€™re stuck on Something youโ€™d actually appreciate another set of eyes on 3๏ธโƒฃ How others can help you right now Feedback, ideas, connections, collaboration, clarity, encouragement โ€” name it Then commit to being part of the room: โœ” Jump into at least 2 other posts โœ” Ask a thoughtful question or offer a practical suggestion โœ” Share honest, grounded input. No hype. No fluff. This community works best when we use it with each other, not beside each other. You donโ€™t have to grow alone. Borrow the room๐Ÿ’™

@Katie Day sorry didnโ€™t see this earlier! The quiz is a diagnostic tool to help you figure out where your funnel is leaking and how to fix it :)
