Fast Fix Friday: Your 5-Minute Content Triage for the Days That Get Away From You
Okay real talk. Some days client work takes everything and by the time you remember you wanted to post, it's 4pm and the motivation is gone. (Or it's already Saturday 😀 and you realized you're off by a day😆) This used to be me hitting publish on nothing. Now I have a 5-minute triage for exactly those days: 1. Go to your content bank first, not a blank page. (This is my Evernote) 2. Pick one idea that's already half-formed. 3. Write just the hook. If it clicks, keep going. If not, grab the next one. 4. Draft fast in your notes app. No scheduler, no formatting, no distractions. 5. Schedule before you overthink it. The edit can wait. The habit can't. Five minutes. One post. Done. The goal isn't perfect content. It's a workflow that doesn't quit on you when your energy does. What part of your content workflow slows you down on the hard days?

The AI Flyer Trend (And Why to Skip It)
Can we talk about AI flyers for a second? 🫣 They're popping up everywhere right now. I run a 17 000 person Events group on Facebook and every 2nd post is an AI flyer. Dance groups, churches, community events all using these types of flyers, packed woth information. Here's the part worth knowing before you jump on the trend. All that text baked into the image? Search engines can't read it. AI search tools can't read it. And honestly, most people scrolling past can't either, they just skim right over it. Your social media isn't a flyer board. It's where people come to know, like, and trust a bookkeeper, accountant, or tax pro, not to get advertised at. If every post looks like a flyer, it gets scrolled past just like one. Have you seen these AI flyers showing up in your feed too? What are your thoughts on them?

@Stacey Watts i really love how you set it up. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ That said, i'm not anti-Ai ... Claude and I are really good friends LOL. But when we blindly let the 🤖 take over, 💩 goes sideways.

@Stacey Watts haha no apology needed. to be fair, i have ranted about AI before LOL. And i definitely AM anti-slop - both written and graphic! As a copywriter and creative... that stuff hurts my eyes and soul. But building efficient systems ... that stuff is GOLD.
Social Sunday
Let's use today to get to know each other's work a little better. Drop a link to one of your current offers or a Skool community you run. You pick. No pitch energy needed, just share what you're proud of right now. Then take a minute to check out a few that others post. What are you sharing with us today?

I'm really proud of two things! The first is the virtual summit I'm pulling together in my dragon boat community. I've never done anything like this, and it's probably going to be an exhausting day, but I'm so stoked for it. And it's gotten a lot of interest, so i'm feeling GREAT about it! The second thing I'm proud of is my Funnel Forensics community members. I challenged them to be vulnerable and sign up to lead a session + walk people through their customer journeys/funnels. Even if they feel like they're messy, imperfect, or broken. And people are stepping up to do it! I am so looking forward to hearing what they're doing, trying, innovating, and running up against. How about you @Stacey Watts - what are you proud of today?
Quick tip for your IG carousels this week 👇
Living photo carousels are getting serious traction right now. The concept is simple: mix short video clips with your still images instead of posting all photos. But here's what makes them work: the video needs to be lazy. Camera still. Just a little movement in the frame. Think a candle flickering, steam rising, leaves moving. Enough to feel alive, not enough to steal focus from what you're actually saying. Too much motion = your audience watches the clip and skips the copy. The sweet spot: one or two low-movement clips mixed with stills. Motion as a hook, not the main event. Worth testing on your next carousel. Are you already using video in your carousels, or is this new territory? ⚡
