😵‍💫 The Protein Program 😵‍💫
Protein is one of the biggest programs out there in the food industry. We’ve been taught our entire lives that we need large amounts of protein to build muscle and stay strong, but what the body actually uses are amino acids. Amino acids are the real building blocks the body uses to repair tissue, support cellular function, and build muscle. The interesting part is that fruits and vegetables already contain amino acids, but in a much cleaner and easier form for the body to use. When we eat dense protein foods, the body has to work very hard to break those proteins down into amino acids before they can even be used. That process creates acidic metabolic waste and puts a lot of stress on the digestive system. With fruits and vegetables, the body receives bioavailable amino acids, enzymes, minerals, hydration, and fiber all at once. This supports the cells and the microbiome without overloading digestion. This is why many people notice that when they move toward more fruits and plant foods, their digestion improves and inflammation begins to calm down. (Some people benefit but not all, while other people thrive under a carnivore diet, but that’s another topic 🥴) The body is simply receiving what it actually needs at a cellular level instead of having to break down dense protein structures first. The body is far more intelligent than we’ve been taught. When we give it clean, living foods, it knows exactly what to do with them. 🍎🥬✨

I have this program pretty strong I think. I’ve been eating more veggies and scoopable salads recently since you started the water fasting on here. I’ve been loving it! It changed my taste buds. However I came back to meat bc my hair started falling out. I had also quit coffee and went on matcha… too much matcha I guess bc I read that it binds non-heme iron and maybe that’s why my hair… or maybe it’s the protein program or both.. bc I did notice my brain freaking out about the lack of protein lol.

Why Some People Feel Shaky or Sick During Fasting or Juicing
I want to expand on something that came up in the group because it’s very important for people to understand what can happen when the body finally gets a chance to rest. Many people experience symptoms like shakiness, dizziness, irritability, nausea, or feeling extremely tired when they stop eating for a period of time or when they move into juicing or fasting. Most people have been told this means their body “can’t handle fasting” or that their metabolism is “too fast.” But what I’ve tuned into and experienced myself is that something deeper is happening. When we eat constantly, the digestive system is always working. The body is using most of its energy to process food. When you suddenly give the digestive system a break through fasting or juicing, the body redirects that energy into repair, detoxification, and emotional clearing. The moment the digestive system relaxes, the body finally has the bandwidth to start releasing stored trauma, stress patterns, and energetic programs that have been held in the body for years. And when that release begins, it can feel intense. The nervous system can interpret that sudden shift as shock because the body is not used to processing that much internal release at once. That’s when people may feel: • shaky • dizzy • emotionally overwhelmed • tired or weak • nauseous • irritable It can feel scary if you don’t understand what is happening, but often the body is simply moving through a release process. I experienced this myself when I first began fasting. I thought something was wrong with me, but what I eventually realized and tuned into was that my body was finally getting the opportunity to process years of stored stress and trauma that had been suppressed while my system was constantly focused on digestion. (Leo helped me massively walk through my fast I literally couldn’t do it myself because I kept wanting to nuke myself as it was easier to reset than deal with it all coming up on a sc level, physically it just felt like heart palpitations dizziness and fainting etc)

That’s amazing Jojo!!! Thank you for sharing!!! That helps A LOT!!! 💕 I only experienced symptoms that scared me (coldness, weakness, heart palpitations) when I tried to do 5 days of water fasting. I got those symptoms near the end of the 4th day. So, I broke the fast a few hours later. What you said resonates a lot! Especially the part where the NS interprets the release as shock… bc what I had - cold and heart palpitations - are shock symptoms! 🤯 Fascinating! 🫨 Thank you! 🙏🏼
Water Fast Guidelines: Binders & Supplements Explained
@Tamsyn Hartley asked a great question. During the water fast we don’t take binders or supplements. The purpose of the water fast is to give the digestive system a complete break so the body can redirect its energy toward repair, cleansing, and internal balancing. When we add supplements or binders, the body still has to process them, which pulls energy back into digestion. The whole point of this phase is to keep things very simple and allow the body to go inward and do what it already knows how to do. During a water fast the body naturally begins deeper cleansing processes and cellular repair, so the best support we can give it is water, rest, and listening to the body. Binders and other supportive supplements are more helpful after the fasting phase, once we begin reintroducing juices and nutrients and the body starts moving toxins out through the digestive system. So during the fast focus on: • Water • Rest • Gentle movement if your body feels good doing it • Connecting inward and allowing the body to reset I’ll also make a separate post about this so everyone in the group can reference it easily. 🙏🤍

This is helpful! I was always confused about whether to take vitamins while on a water fast… bc I felt like I was losing vitamins/minerals by drinking water? Idk lol… but I didn’t feel good taking the vitamins… made me hungry.. felt disturbing to the digestive system so I’m glad you confirmed. 🩷

I usually do a 72 h water fast with lemon/salt shots a couple times a day and black coffee in the morning. Although last water fast I joined you guys and dropped the coffee bc it tasted like shit lol. 😅
Castor oil & Rose Water Skin Care
So i introduced to my mother, castor oil for her eyes and face. So this is just an update on the face. She did castor oil for a month and it was smoothing out skin around her eyes. Shes 70 by the way! Following month i did a little research on how the castor oil was working. Says it locks in moisture on the skin. So the next month i recommended rose water for my mum to put on before the castor oil. And honestly i saw her the other day and its been maybe 2.5 months since castor oil, and im shocked at how young her skin is looking and smooth. I dont think i could see wrinkles in her face anymore either. Im thinking i need to take my own advice haha and get with the program! 😅😆

Starting again after a break
Starting detox again with binders and supplements. Zeolite in morning before food. Heavy metal detox herbs and fulvic minerals with food. Charcoal at bedtime. I mixed up a salad for dinner spinach, tomatoes, blueberries, grapes, cucumber, walnuts , celery with an orange and ginger olive oil dressing. Mixed fruits for breakfast with glass of organic coconut milk. Trying to keep my diet raw veggies so to break away from all the food intolerances that make me feel crap, mainly gluten and wheat
