Happy New Year
I’ve been thinking a lot about how many chapters I’ve already lived. I remember being a younger woman who genuinely believed she wasn’t very intelligent. Then came the chapter where I wanted to prove everyone wrong and decided I was intelligent, just in my own way. That led to businesses that failed. Lessons that were hard. Moments where I questioned everything. Then things started to click. A business that worked. Confidence that grew slowly. Then I became a mother, and everything shifted again. I had to learn how to hold ambition and care at the same time. How to build something sustainable. How to trust that I could provide. Now I’m in a chapter where I know this to be true: I’m financially independent, with a business that supports my family. Not because it was easy. But because I kept becoming. This New Year doesn’t feel like a fresh start. It feels like a continuation. If you’re standing at the edge of a new chapter too, you don’t have to figure it out alone. My January calls are open if you want to talk things through properly. Book a call here: https://calendly.com/kimloystudios/30min?month=2025-09

Happy new year 🎆
Look how far you’ve come.
Mexico City was a blast. Incredible food, so much culture, but wow, it’s busy. Arriving in Sayulita has been such a welcome change of pace. We’re here with close friends, staying up above the ocean. I’m writing this from the kitchen table, looking straight out over the beach in the most incredible home, which astounds me because… Seven years ago, I was broke. No money. No savings. No job. At 36, a new mum, I borrowed £2,000 from my parents to do my first PMU training and promised I’d pay it back within a year. Seven years later, I can bring my family here. Not because of luck. But because I built a business that supports my life, instead of taking it over. That’s what I care about when I work with artists. Building skill, confidence, and income with room for family, rest, and freedom. If that’s something you want more of next year, my January calls are open. You can book one here if you want to work towards your version of success: BOOK YOUR JAN CALL: https://calendly.com/kimloystudios/30min?month=2025-09 Kim x

Hi Michele, you don’t sound negative. You are just going through a difficult period. I totally get it as I’m experiencing the same obstacles. When you combine the ‘normal’ process of building a business with the everyday challenges of making ends meet, it is easy to get discouraged. Here’s what keeps me going: I changed my perspective. This is a BUSINESS, not a side gig. Like any good, long term established business, it takes time to build. There’s a lot to learn and it will not happen overtime, but what separates success from failure, is the ones that don’t give up and keep pressing forward. Most people that fail, quit right when they are about to have a break through. And it’s typically a very small growth. You will see that your business will grow, little by little. And you will look back at these times and say: wow 🤯, I’m so glad I didn’t give up. Keep practicing your craft. Keep applying different ideas to get your business out there. Be strategic with what you can afford now vs what you can invest later. And most importantly: DO NOT COMPARE your success with others. Everyone has their own journey. What you bring to the table is valuable and different. Don’t let fear stop you.
An end-of-year pause 🤍
It’s that end-of-year feeling, isn’t it? Where things slow down a bit and you start reflecting. I’m heading to Mexico tomorrow with my family and friends for a couple of weeks. A mix of city, beach, and switching my brain off properly. It made me think about how much work it takes to build a business that gives you choice. A lot of small decisions stacked over time. Before we wrap this year up… 👉 What’s one thing you’re proud of yourself for in 2025? Big or small. Drop it below 👇 I’d genuinely love to read them.

@Kim Loy , I know I've been MIA, but I hope you had a wonderful time in Mexico and you are enjoying the break with your family. This year has been a challenging and stressful one for me. Major changes in my life and big lessons for which I'm greatful. Usually when you are getting ready to expand, you are faced with big decissions and situations that force you to pivot even if you feel you are not ready. I am thankful that all these experiences have reminded me of the person I use to be and to embrace anything and everything, because at the end we always land where we are supposed to be. Most of all, I am thankful that I stumbled into your posting and I took the leap of faith. You have been an inspiration and a changing force in my attitude and confidence. Thanks Kim!
I was stressed over nothing 😅
I arrived In Mexico City with the fam over the weekend Love it here already! Confession I was way more nervous about the long flight than I needed to be, especially with a 9-year-old. Turns out she watched movies, slept, and was an absolute dream. Made me laugh at how often we do this. Build things up in our head that end up being totally fine . Any recommendations for Mexico city?👇

I've only been in Puerto Vallarta and I had a great time just eating where the locals eat. Taking public transportation and visiting the town and really learning to let go and relax 😉
Merry Christmas
Just a quick note to wish you all a very Merry Christmas I hope tomorrow is exactly what you need it to be. Whether that’s time with family. Time with friends. Or a quiet moment to yourself. Have a fab time whatever you’re doing. Kim x
