Hey everyone, Welcome to Modern Solo Musician. I want to start by sharing a bit of my own journey so you know where all of this is coming from. I’ve been playing music my whole life. Since I was 10 years old I was on drums, guitar, piano and singing in bands. Then I moved to Australia and New Zealand for about five years, and that’s where I really stepped into the world of solo performing. I played hundreds of gigs in pubs all over Australia and learned how to hold down a show on my own. During that time I also learned how to DJ and produce techno, and near the end of my stay I started blending those production skills into my live act. That’s when everything clicked. I realised the future of being a solo musician or small ensemble is the fusion of live performance and Ableton. It gives you so much freedom and makes your act feel huge. That’s what I want to help you build. Here’s what you can expect here: • Subscription 12 dollars a month gives you weekly videos where I break down how I build my backtracks and show you how to turn your act into a full and dynamic performance using Ableton. • One on one sessions 50 USD an hour for personalized guidance, project help or deeper learning. • Custom backtracks 150 USD for a custom backtrack created from scratch, complete with all stems. I’m currently based in Costa Rica working full time as a DJ and live solo musician, and soon I’ll also be offering DJ lessons for anyone wanting to expand their toolkit. My goal is to help you become a fully rounded performer who can offer an acoustic set, a live electronic act and a DJ set all in one package.
