How to backup my device?
My son Sebastian is 19 and in his second year of college. Still using his iPhone X from high school. I appreciate that Tristan has been sharing on social media how flicker in iPhone screens is harmful and older devices are better in this way. It motivated the both of us to help him keep his old phone going for a long time. It's been to India and back many times. Several times to El Salvador. This time it didn't make it. He had to use my daylight. To connect with his girlfriend. So he was very motivated. He loved it and used it every day. The amount of ways I missed my daylight tablet I call it a tablet. I hope that's okay lol :-) now that daylight computer is branching out into all sorts of different tech. Daylight computer tablet :-) is how I share it with people I did wonder about backing up my device. And so I looked in this forum. And there's no posts about it. I'm going to check the FAQs on the website. And will post the links here. Look forward to 2026 and beyond with you all

We unfortunately do not have the software infrastructure for that yet (like in the way that an iphone can just upload and download the entire phone and settings into a new device); but, Daylight Reader storage is already cloud-based, and Notebook has a feature that upon signing in, it will sync with automatic uploads. Otherwise, it's all app-dependent. If the app itself has that, then it's fine (which, many/most apps do.) If not, they'd have to back the files up manually on like a USB drive or external hard drive, or a cloud drive. Hope that helps!
My octarian mom ... Is daylight kids a good gift for a soon to be a level 85 human
My mom aka mama Gigi levels u to 85 in January 2026. I feel like the adult version of the daylight might not be good for someone in their mid '80s. I like the idea of the soft squishy case and the fact that it could be locked down so she doesn't accidentally get herself into trouble. Not sure if that's necessary and I've heard the new iOS is going to merge both options anyway. Merry Christmas to you all. And if you don't celebrate Christmas, may this day be magical for you and the energy of Christ consciousness uplift all of us.

This is a great idea Jess! I think our elderly definitely need an interface that is easy to use, safe, and physically safe as well! Happy Holidays from Daylight <3

Love to hear it! Teenagers are the most important group to reach if we want to break the addictive pull of traditional tech.

@Jess Allen Thanks so much for sharing Jess!
Quick way to jump to end (or page) of notebook?
Hello community! I have a 700 page notebook and want to jump to end. Somehow it got in the middle of the notebook, where I was adding new, pages to the end . I open the page editor, and I scroll fast, but sometimes i clicked on a page while scrolling, and then it stops the scrolling process. I figured out if I scroll down the center of all the pages, it doesn’t accidentally click a page. But if there was a way to jump to a page in the notebook that would be awesome.

@Ryan Sumner Noteshelf has their own platform, so technically they would have to make those changes!
